We have driven by for years and tonight we stopped in as we heard really good things about this place.
When you pull into the parking lot, the little building is inviting to walk up to. Bright red and welcoming. When you step inside. I am not sure whats going on. To the left is a make shift dining room and the right is a take out / open table area.
Anyhow. The place could use some declutter and some updates. We were greeted promptly. Sat in a booth and waited to be served. Everything is made to order fresh here. So you will wait just a tad.
We ordered the crab ragoons for an appetizer. The almond chicken and the steak bite noodles.
Crab ragoons came out. Luke warm at best and mostly cream cheese. Very little if any crab. I would not recommend these next time.
If you want fried rice instead of white rice. They will charge you $6.25 for a side of fried rice. Then not give you the white rice that comes with your dinner. Not to pleased with this.
The almond chicken was VERY good. Crisp breading. Not heavy and tender chicken with a nice almond chicken gravy. I enjoyed this allot.
The steak bite noodles were very tender. Large portion. And we enjoyed it. The fried rice was very good. Small portion to say the least. Very good. But considering it was a side and you lost your rice and paid full price for a side. Maybe not next time if your watching your over all bill total.
$46 for us both and we had good main dishes. Not so good appetizer and a beverage and up charge for side of rice.
We will be back. Four stars for the service. And the main dishes ! This is more then fair 🙂

I would say this is one of my favorite restaurants in Michigan so far. I am very surprised to see it is never crazy busy every time I come here. I love this restaurant so much and I hope more people would support this place because I want this place to stay in business. Other than food, I also love the server. She is such a sweet heart! Thank you for your consistent awesome service.

Seriously huge rolls! I didn’t expect it to be so different from other sushi places. This one’s a winner. I’ve been all over the US, even Alaska. This one’s in my top 5 now. First time here, and I’m hooked. I hope the rest are just as good.

Great service! Sushi was very delicious… But, the chicken ramen was bland in my opinion. I then ordered miso soup instead… Very very salty. Not edible for me. Overall our server was very sweet and took care of the ramen that I didn’t enjoy. I will be back for sushi.

Yum! Good sushi, on the cutest platter. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Not many people inside so it was kind of quiet, but it was a nice dinner.

We took a chance on trying a new sushi place and was pleasantly surprised. Loved the Asian decor, the variety of the menu and music—80’s rock. The sushi rolls were great—we had three kinds: California roll tempura, salmon roll, and Yummi Roll. We tried the corn beef egg rolls; they were okay. The meat didn’t taste seasoned and it was much too much grease pouring out once we bit into it. The most pleasant surprise was Free Cookie Wednesdays—those snickerdoodles were scrumptious! Finally, our server was super attentive and very patient with our questions; we’ll give this place another try.

The food is delicious but the old waitress curses aloud, smells like smoke, and is slow. I ordered one Ramen at 611 pm and was informed that the order would be ready in 40 minutes. It is after 720 pm and it still isn’t ready! If you have plans don’t want to be late, or are hungry, I suggest that you go somewhere else.

In my opinion this place is one of the best sushi spots in Southern Michigan! Absolutely freshest sushi I’ve had since living in California and I don’t say this very lightly!! Michelle is the one who took my order and she’s the sweetest, kindest person ever. Love how friendly, and professional everyone is. It’s soo difficult to find such authentic people anymore especially good ownership. I’m just impressed by the high quality of hospitality here felt like family. The shop is located off Wayne road. As of this time of the review there’s a bit of construction going on so might be a tad tough to. Inside has a good amount of seating for a small place plus they have outside seating. Their menu is filled with soo many great options plus alcoholic beverages. But the sushi is truly the main and speciall story here folks. I’m just blown away by the quality and freshness..it’s beyond rare from my experience. Without a doubt my new favorite spot in town and now became a recent regular but first time reviewer. Nonetheless, this is a must visit if you’re interested in a great time and fantastic sushi!

Went tonight for takeout. The 911 tuna roll was amazing. Beef pepper steak was pretty good and could’ve been better if I would’ve gotten the rice that’s supposed to come with it. The kimchi chicken fried rice I ordered as extra was dry and chicken way overcooked. I guess I’ll only get sushi from here if I come back.
