Cheap late night comfort food. Extremely popular with the locals. The food was ok, not spectacular. Staff was really nice and accommodating. The location is a bit worn out, apparently it’s been here for over 30 years.

There was glass in my lomein!! I’ve gone here at least a handful of times and no issues. But today, on a to-go order, I almost died on this huge piece of glass. Thankfully I saw it before I swallowed but this is absolutely unacceptable. I will never eat here again. I was refunded my entire order after having to ask twice.

We were surprised this place was so crowded so close to closing time, but knew that meant the food had to be good. We were correct. My husband and I were only moderately hungry so we split a large chicken pho. It was the perfect sharing size and the broth was so rich. It had a good amount of chicken in it as well. Our friend got the green curry which I had a bite of and I would definitely try that next time. Great size portions for the price!

Loved the food! Started with the tum yum soup, which was sweet & sour perfection. I got the sizzling lemongrass chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Vietnamese style beef flank steak. Will definitely go back again!

My husband, two of our grandchildren (Eedan and Ella), our son, and I ate at 888, for my birthday. The restaurant was clean, and service was prompt. The restrooms were stocked. The orange chicken tasted amazing, as did the sugarcane steak wraps, and chicken satay. The Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and refreshing. The grilled chicken rice dish and the sweet and sour chicken were yummy. The beef chef’s specialty and chicken pot were good. Recommended!

This spot hits late night dinner cravings. It is packed inside so you know it’s good when you come in on a Friday night about 10 pm and you have people waiting in line. We were told it would be 15- 20 minute wait but we honestly waited like 5 minutes before being seated. The server was great and prompt. The flavor is on point with the pho and shrimp fried rice. The beef clay pot is delicious. The beef is soft and the vegetables with it complimented the dish. The pricing point is great for the sizing portion of the food. Ended up getting to go boxes for our clay pot and fried rice.

First off, I have to say that this the first place I have a wonton soup where the wontons are packed and the soup is flavorful *chef’s kiss* I also ordered beef stir fried rice noodles, my only complaint there is that there was waaaaay too much noodle and not enough veggies. Honestly, there was lots of meat! The flavor was great and everything really hit the spot. Next time I give this a try I’ll ask for more veggies, less noodles the portions were amazing too! I got everything for $25. All in all, I’d say it was a success.

We wanted Asian cuisine for dinner and this place wasn’t too far from our hotel. We Uber’d over and found a mess of folks waiting on porch…a good sign! We got our name on the list and they handed us one of those electronic alert things. It alerted, we were seated and we had menus and water immediately. We started with the chicken wing appetizer…yummy (and sticky). ‘A’ ordered a green curry dish and I got a Thai basil stir fry. Both were delicious and the portions large enough that we needed to-go boxes. We will go back on future visits to ATX!
