Went for lunch and the server was great. The decor when you 1st walk in are very nice but then you get to the main dining area and its plain and bland. I asked the server was does he recommend and he said the General Tso chicken. Following his recommendation thats what I ordered. I opted to pay and addition $0.75 cent for an eggroll instead of soup. The food came in instantly which was a good and bad thing. I liked that they have fast service however I had busted ordered so how did my food come out that fast and the food was luke warm. The Tso indicated spicy on the menu but I think that’s only because they add dried peppers to the dish because there was no a hint of spice in the food. Overall I give it a 5 out of 10.

We received great customer service. The pepper steak was the best I can ever remember eating. The peppers were cooked just enough that they weren’t almost raw like other places, but still had a very nice crunch.

Dined for dinner. Ordered vegetable fried rice, orange chicken, and broccoli and beef. Thought it was going to come as separate entrees, but they combined it. Waiter gave a free eggroll to compensate. May not return.

Was greeted upon entry. Order process was smooth. The food, was not well. I had combo house special lo mein. No flavor. Was nasty. I ordered fried spring rolls and when I ate them, a couple was soggy. I tried this place a few years ago, was good. Don’t know ow what happened. Won’t return.

The manager is a female and really rude. We spent over $70 there and ordered mango chicken with garlic sauce and it came out dry and bi sauce was given even though we said “extra sauce”. We come all the way from Sugarland every 2 weeks to get food.
She didn’t even want to listen to my complaint and wouldn’t offer us anything in compensation after we called and complained.

First time going. Bought beef with mixed vegetables threw it away. You couldn’t even taste the beef or vegetables because it was saturated with that soy sauce. Terrible. Waitress was good. But they need to warn people on the menu that the food has a whole bottle of soy sauce. Not to mention the brown rice had no taste very sad I had to go waste more money at another place so I can eat

This might be my new go to Chinese restaurant! Everything was good only thing I had an issue with was the lo mein didn’t have too much flavor like the others I’ve tried and I’m big lo mein lover…so kinda made me sad but everything else was great! Server was amazing and asked the cooks the cook my general tso how I wanted (extra crispy chicken and the sauce on the side)!

Item Ordered:
Kung Pao Lunch Special

Tasted of pure salt and char. Chicken was minced so small, no piece was bigger than a peanut (to save cost no doubt) . The peanuts were not cooked with the food, added obviously from a can of Planter’s Honey Peanuts.
Dry with no vegetables, just burnt dry chilies.
Didn’t even get halfway and bit into a hard piece of food. Stopped eating after that.
Not spicy.
Not savory.
Would make even a hungry stoner go sober.
If you’re hungry and see 888 on the sign. Keep driving.

I am a longtime customer of 888 but mostly at the Baytown location. Within the last 6 months, I have frequented the one on I-45 at Fuqua. I get the chicken fried rice and the chicken and shrimp fried rice. When I called in to place my pick up order, the young lady didn’t even announce the business name nor was she polite. She went straight to “how can I help you?” I asked, “is this 888 on Fuqua?” She replied, “Yes, how can I help you?” She spoke very fast and in a monotone voice. I started to request to speak to someone else but then you learn not to piss them off before you get your food! So I endured her rushed speaking and when she gave me the total I thought it was slightly higher than normal. So I called back after a few minutes to inquire about the cost difference. I tried speaking with the young lady who took the order, then she stated that she would get someone else. I was put on hold for over 3 minutes. When the new person came to the phone, she asked, “what’s the problem?” I explained that I was being overcharged. She preceded to tell me that I paid $3 to add shrimp to my chicken fried rice. I questioned why when the house fried rice comes with three meats and it’s only $1 more; just don’t put in the roast pork. I was told that I didn’t order it that way. I responded that I didn’t know that I had to say it in a specific way. Then I asked so is the $3 of shrimp more than what comes in the house fried rice. She stated that she did not know. Needless to say, I received extremely terrible service this evening!!!
