We went here as a part of her Birthday wishlist and it turned out to be a satisfactory outing for all of us.
The ambience was simply great with spacious tables and space for hot pot and grill.
The food was sumptuous. Every item we ordered was so well-made.
The ‘BBQ on your own’ experience was truly worth it.
The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Our waiter Jean took special care of us and was there throughout to make our experience memorable.
My wife was a vegetarian and she did not have enough options to indulge. The team waived off her bill and that was so kind.
The team was sweet enough to gift my kid with a soft toy teddy for her birthday!
Would totally recommend it.
During our second visit, we made a reservation for 7 people and confirmed in advance that part of our group would arrive about 10 minutes earlier than the rest. We were told this would not be an issue.
When my parents arrived first, they were asked to wait instead of being seated, despite multiple open tables. When we arrived shortly after, staff insisted that the entire party must be present before seating us.
When I asked to clarify the policy with the manager, she stated she was the manager and declined to further explain. When I asked to speak with the owner, the response was: “Do you want a table or not?”
The tone and handling of the situation felt dismissive and unprofessional. We chose not to stay.
I really liked the variety of side dishes — the small kimchi and pickled vegetables were actually very good, not just fillers.
The Korean sweet and spicy sauce was well balanced and paired nicely with the meat.
The meat is pre-marinated and has good flavor on its own after grilling, so you don’t need much extra seasoning.
Overall, good taste and reasonable price. A place I’d come back to.
Conceptually, this place is great. Even for the cheaper dinner menu, the options are immense and you’re bound to find something to your tastes. The sauce bar was also quite extensive.
Unfortunately, that’s pretty much where my praises end. All of the food quality was just okay or even strange at times (see the Oreo tempura dessert – extremely chewy). The portion sizes are small, which normally I would enjoy so as to better take advantage of AYCE – but the night we were here (a Friday night), it was not only immensely packed, but our server mentioned a ticketing issue with the kitchen. We waited long times for our small portions of ingredients, averaging 30 min even when we ordered while we still had food on the table. Some of our food, in the end, was undelivered, and we just paid the check and left without even receiving it. You can get ice cream by asking your waiter, but we only got his attention once every 20-30 min as well and also had to explicitly ask for drink refills. I left without getting some items I wanted because everything was taking so long. Normally we eat hotpot in 45 min-1.25 hr, but we were at this location for over 2 hours (which was actually, supposedly, the max dining time).
The two person booths were also quite cramped. I am relatively tall, and had a hard time making my legs fit.
The price would’ve been alright for hot pot AYCE had the experience been better. I would rather go to somewhere like Seapot off of 75. Hopefully this experience can be written off as growing pains of a new place.
First, everything is nice and clean. The menu options are extensive. You can get kbbq, hot pot, or both and with 2 different levels of options. You order almost everything on the tablet and it’ll show up quickly after. There’s a whole sauce bar with everything you need along with some authentic Chinese apps like cucumbers, wood ear mushroom, and even pig ear.
Service was amazing and Zahia was awesome! Very attentive, friendly and just a great person overall. Very nice to us and the kiddo!
Now for the food… Amazing. Just the amount of options… WOW!!
+ They have amazing Wagyu petite cubes, garlic Wagyu, enoki beef rolls, garlic enoki mushrooms,, and even lamb cubes with the less expensive option A kbbq.
+ They also had authentic options for the hot pot like intestines, tofu rolls, and more with option A.
+ Plus tons of appetizers and even sushi!
Least to say, I’ll be coming back more often. Only downside is that it’s pricey for kids…
Service was okay. We were mistakenly served a plate of BBQ meat and had to ask twice for water.
There’s a two-hour time limit and they took it seriously, so be sure to pace yourself accordingly.
Music was a bit too loud.
Its a no frills kbbq and hot pot place, I tried both and they do not do either strong, The pork cilantro type meat ball was good and cool, I do not rec the 88 style meat since it tasted like sausage. Meat quality is overall subpar to other chains
Music was a bit loud, and the walking space to get to the hot pot bar felt very narrow and cramped.
Also, there was cross contamination with the hot pot broth or hot pot bar that my friend got an allergy reaction from, not from the mediocre fried foods ( dry tenders, bland dumplings) as said friend did not eat the fried items that would be fried in the calamari fryer
I do not see myself going back.
