Tried overrated black pepper chicken today. It might have been delicious back then but not anymore. Chicken was very hard and dry difficult chew or swallow, looks like it was fried many times before it was served to me. Had to trash half of them.

Chinese Food, donuts, plants – Oh my!
88 King seems to have all the bases covered. Hungry? Chinese food in warming trays to choose from. Something sweet? Donuts ready to avail yourself of. Want some greenery for the house/yard? Various plants are for sale.
I frequently dine at Go Hyang Jib for their soondae gook, and sometimes their soondubu. Being a frequent lotto player, it’s convenient for me to buy a couple before/after dining at Go Hyang Jib.
I’m very picky with Chinese fast food, so I don’t care to taste the items at 88 King. The prices seem cheap, though, so dinner can be had for very little money. Also, I rarely partake of donuts, so I can’t give 2 cents on the donuts they have here.
But, buying lotto is a breeze. The friendly man behind the counter helped me quickly and seemed pleasant in personality. A good number of potted plants are for sale by the donuts. The English/scientific names escape me, but they are quite common in the Asian community.
Parking is in a private lot, anchored by a Korean spa. Some spots are 1 hour only, so be mindful of that.
Buying lotto is a cinch at 88 King, which is a really rad name. The food offered here doesn’t interest me per se, but the staff were nice when I dealt with them and prices are very affordable.

Drove 12 miles from seal beach because the shop said they were open at 4:30am. They have a donut shop and a chinese food restaurant in 1. Donuts open at 4:30am chinese food does not open until 9:00am. I’m livid that I just fought rush hour traffic to get to this place. Tried to call to ask if the restaurant was open before I drove here and the line was busy non stop for 20 minutes.
