Excellent spot! Highly recommend! Great service and generous portion sizes. The lunch special is such a great deal. Spicy chicken was flavorful and crunchy. Dumplings were chewy perfection. Boba was great but slightly too sweet for me. Customer service was great too. Will definitely be coming back.

I’ve been to their other location so I was surprised and happy when I found out that this location is close to my house.

They just opened and is currently offering 20% off your bill. We went on a Friday night. The place is smaller than the other location so we decided to just take it to go since there is hardly anyplace to sit. There were a lot of people. You place your order on the kiosk.

Their food is as good as the other location. We ordered chicken fried rice, pork and cabbage dumplings, shrimp with pork potstickers (my favorite), thumb-size pan fried pork bun (daughter’s favorite), honey walnut shrimp (too much mayo), Thai milk black tea, and taro boba tea (boba was hard).

They were very busy with the onslaught of orders so I’ll cut them some slack since they just opened. Their takeout bags are cute and reusable.

This restaurant has very good dumplings! I got a combo with egg drop soup, dumplings, & fried rice. Everything was delicious but I thought the rice was a bit too salty for me. As for the ambiance, I believe some background music and more decorations would liven up the place. It was quite quiet when we walked in and all we could hear was the air conditioning. The lady helping us order & bringing us utensils was very friendly! I would recommend this place to others because the dumplings were very delicious! The soup dumplings held the broth well & were very tasty!!

Pearland finally gets a great little dumpling spot and this one is a winner! Ordered the spicy crawfish, dumpling with pork, spicy hot pot soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, and the beef soup dumplings. All choices were delicious; the shrimp dumplings really stood out for the whole family. Really love the spicy hot pot soup dumplings and its vibrant, red colour made it even more exciting to eat. Beef soup dumplings were great especially with the black vinegar. So many other items on the menu to choose from including appetizers, noodles, and rice dishes. Excited to try them next time.

Ning was a fantastic host; very warm, friendly, and welcoming. Definitely a place that suits a Pearland crowd.

We will be coming back for sure – highly recommended.

Just tried this brand new dumpling spot and I’m already a fan ✨
It’s a small place, but the menu is surprisingly big with so many options to choose from. You can really tell a lot of care went into it.

The lady in the front (not sure if owner or not) was working nonstop because there were so many orders coming in — honestly, mad respect. She was very apologetic throughout the day, never angry or frustrated. Even with how busy it was, the food came out amazing, it was worth the wait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love.

So happy to see a new local spot doing well. Definitely coming back and highly recommend checking it out!

We ordered a lot of food and every bit of it was worth it. For about $62, we got shrimp & pork potstickers, three-delicacies dumplings (shrimp, pork, chives), pan-fried pork buns, Malaysian sambal fried rice, plus two drinks. Nothing felt skimpy, rushed, or reheated.

Posting a half-eaten pic of the sambal fried rice because I didn’t even think about taking a photo until it was almost gone. That alone says enough.

This is fresh, made-to-order cooking, not fast food. If there’s a wait, it’s because the kitchen is actually cooking. Staff answering phones are clearly handling online and call-in orders, especially for a brand-new spot.

If you’re looking for speed over quality, this probably isn’t your place. If you want great dumplings and real flavor, 88 Dumpling House is absolutely worth it. We’ll be back.

Food was good. It’s very tight In there and you gotta be your own waiter. I recommend getting a drink somewhere else as their drinks are warm and you gotta ask for a cup, straw, and lid. This is more of a to go place for me.

Small little shop for dumplings. I really liked the ordering process and I think it’s probably the way places will start using more in the future. The way you order is on a touchscreen and you select what you want on the menu.

They had a variety of dumpling choices and even noodles/entrees. I think the price is reasonable. I really enjoyed the taste and texture of the dumplings. I got the Four-color Dumpling Platter (chicken Onion And Mushroom Pork And Three Delicacies (shrimp Pork And Chives) Beef And Cabbage) which was $8.99 for 8 pieces and the Spicy Hot Pot Soup Dumpling with 4pcs for $7.99. For the drink I decided to try the Strawberry Matcha Bobo Cloud for $5.99.

My favorite was the spicy hot pot soup dumplings it was very flavorful and had a hint of spice, 5 stars on that. The colorful dumplings were aesthically cute and also flavorful but I think that was more of a 4 star, I’m not a big fan of onions. The onion taste isn’t strong but I think that’s what threw off the flavor for me, it was a tolerable flavor I would’ve never guessed it was in there.

The boba wasn’t it. It was okay I’ll give it 2 stars. It just tastes like they threw in some strawberry puree in it and I didn’t really taste the matcha flavor at all. It tasted more like milk than matcha. The tapioca did have a nice texture at least, not too soft and not hard.

It did take quite awhile to get my food. It was about 36 minutes. It was busy but not too crowded. I think it’s because there is only like 3 staff members I’m not entirely sure why it took so long.

88 Dumpling House is a small restaurant.
– Poor ventilation; smoke detector went off at one point (you’ll leave the place with a smokey smell on your attire)
– Limited personal space, since tables/chairs are crammed near each other
– Order at kiosk. Ended up being 30+ min wait for food
– Food ranked: chicken pot stickers (best) > thumb size pan fried pork bun > black truffle soup dumpling (lacked soup…) > spicy pork wonton in chili oil (worst, salty & no kick to it)

Tried the food once, but I wouldn’t dine here again.
