I stopped by this 85C Bakery after taking my Microsoft Azure certification test across the street. I had a party to go afterwards so I figured I would get some cake. I parked at the parking structure on Artsakh because you get 90 minutes free. When I walked into the store, they had all the cakes on display and some bakery stuff out. I saw that they had a computer where you can order drinks only and also a separate line for drinks order. This organization really helps speed things along in the store especially since it’s not that big inside. I went with the Strawberry Deluxe cake and the Mango Creme Brulee cake. They don’t have any happy birthday label sign here so be aware but they’ll give you candles. I didn’t have to wait long for the worker to bring out the cakes. They went to the back where the refrigerator is to get it from there. The 2 cakes were very delicious and it was a fan favorite at the party.

I went in to get a tiramisu cake and it looked like somebody didn’t handle it too well. There was even smeared frosting on the box. On top of that the girl who helped me out didn’t even call out my number she just left it sitting there until I came up and asked obviously the cake is still edible but when you pay a little more for aesthetics you’d expect them to be a little more careful.

I came on my break for this bread they usually have, they said they don’t have it and to come in the morning because it’s popular and runs out, I thought that was weird because at any other location it’s usually just there like all the other ones, I come back early the next day on my break and it’s not there, I ask the person at the counter if they ran out already, she said I think we have it let me check if it’s ready, she comes back and says it’s still frozen it won’t be ready till tomorrow – first of all, frozen??? And they tell me that whenever they don’t have a certain bread one day it won’t be until the next next day they have it ready and that whoever told me it would be ready today was wrong, great I just wasted two of my breaks and learned all your bread comes frozen and yall heat it up like a hot pocket, 85 has been going downhill for a while I feel like this is the last straw for me

I am a fan of 85C Bakery and this Glendale location is no exception. The store isn’t very big, but I was able to find all of my favorite items.
The service can be a little slow here. When it’s not busy, sometimes there is no one at the register, and I have to wait for someone to come out of the kitchen to check out. Also there are no seatings at this location at the moment.
