Located inside New York Food Court, this is perhaps where you find the best Taiwanese steak in Flushing. It’s also the loudest, the smokiest, the steamiest, and the most sizzling-est – perfect for that intense sizzle video haha. The Taiwanese style steak here is served on a hot cast iron platter and topped with broccoli, corn, an egg, and noodles. For sauces, there are 2 choices: black pepper sauce and mushroom sauce – we opted for the black pepper sauce. The $26 dish also comes with a side of salad with some mayo on top and a refreshing herbal drink. Once you finish, don’t forget to return your skillet and silverware to get your $5 deposit back!

If you come to this food court, this is one of the stalls you will need to definitely try out before leaving. They have the best sizzling steak options, and I’ve been coming to this place for years when it was previously located in the same location of what is now Tangram. Prices have gone up through the years, but the food quality has pretty much remained the same. Just watch out for the splatter of sauce if you get too close, while your meal is still sizzling. The side salad and tea drink is the best complement for this steak entree. You can see the steam rise in the pics.

I highly recommend the Taiwanese style steak with black pepper sauce. The steak was one of the best steaks ive had. The way it was cooked was soft and juicy. The salt and pepper chicken was also my favorite appetizer.

The restaurant is located in the New York food court. We ordered Taiwanese Style Steak (black pepper sauce), it was served on a hot cast iron plate (which you will need to return after you are done to get your $5 deposit back). The dish def came out sizzling, just like how they served in Taiwan. Although a bit pricey ($26) in comparison with other food choices inside the food court, but I think the quality of steak, the flavor and the amount of the food that you get is worth of what you are paying for.

I ordered the “Railroad” chicken with sausage. It was lukewarm and a little bland. My elderly mother would have been fine being sensitive to salt. The staff had no idea why my order was called “railroad” chicken. It would be nice to know the story behind it. Lost 1 star for that, and 1 for lukewarm meal.

We opted to try some Taiwanese food – the stinky tofu was crunchy and tasty, I just wished that the dish wasn’t covered in hot sauce. The duck meat noodle dish was flavorful, with lots of duck meat. Both dishes satisfied our tummy on a budget!

It’s ok, I liked the salt and pepper chicken I got. Next time I will get an appetizer portion instead. If I want it again. It was good but nothing over the top. It was a long wait for food with no buzzard. In the food court, so good court vibes. Also it’s cash only, so I took off a star.

Customer service was terrible but the food absolutely makes up for it. Had me standing at the stand waiting for someone to even look at me to take the order. BUT this chicken tho…10/10. Crisy salt & pepper chicken with an amazing dipping sauce. Long cook time but when it did come out…it was hot and fresh. Also only $7.50! If there was a similar spot that has actual nice service & also affordable, I’ll go but for now this is my spot
