Visited here first time and everything we ordered are delicious, especially the fried chicken wings so tender and crispy. The lady working there was very friendly as well. Food came out promptly. If you’re in town and love Korean food don’t miss out this gem.

Had crave for Asian food in Joshua Tree area and this Korean resto did the job! We ordered Korean fried chicken and tho it looked a bit uncommon than all the other Korean fried chicken we had, it was super crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned.

I went here last night with my little family for dinner. Excellent customer service, food was Delicious, the environment was very clean with beautiful plants in every corner filling the space with positive energy . Menu was big and easy to read with so many great choices! The man who took our order and served our food was very polite, and efficient. He had a FULL house and still managed to get everything out on a timely fashion, making sure our water was filled and we had everything we needed! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

I had a fantastic meal at this Korean restaurant! The kimbap was incredibly delicious—perfectly rolled and packed with fresh ingredients. The homemade pork cutlet was a standout! Even the next morning, it was still so good and flavorful. The tofu soup was another highlight—rich, comforting, and absolutely delightful. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back for more!”

Buy some homemade kimchi and note the table soy sauce (interestingly sweet).
The exterior of the building is a little odd looking so I wasn’t expecting to be super impressed. However, what a gem this is!!! Food and service was great and the inside was so cute. We got kimchi fried rice (with kimchi sampler) and spicy pork and rice which was phenomenal.
Waitress was so nice and talkative.

Delicious food great service. Maybe add some soft music in the background and a changing table for babies in the bathroom. They hooked up with the fried shrimp felt like a double portion. I didn’t take a pic I was too hungry.

When we ordered, several of the things on their menu were no longer available, as in they don’t offer them anymore, one being the Kimbap. They also did not offer the fresh fish shaped treats. They had the setup for it (the press), but said they weren’t making them at that time?
We ordered the fried shrimp, fried chicken wings and the BBQ beef bulgogi plate. The fried chicken and shrimp were delicious, and so was the bbq beef, however when we received our bbq beef bulgogi plate ($35ish) I was a bit disappointed with the portion size. I got it to share with my husband but it could have easily just fed me. Luckily we had ordered the chicken wings and fried shrimp so we were satisfied.
I would probably eat here again if just for the shrimp and chicken wings.

I had another opportunity to check out a local Korean eatery. I stopped by 8 Star K Restaurant after a few recommendations from local friends. I was hoping for a Kimchi Jiggae (which is not on the menu), and settled for Kimchi Sundubu. Friendly and fast service, the flavor of the soup was spot on (I crave for authentic asian flavors), good bancha. I will definitely be back. Thanks for a good lunch.

First time coming here and I was welcomed like I’ve been eating here for years. The two ladies working were so friendly and patient with me as we decided what to order. We went with the dumplings, spicy pork rice bowl, and japchae. Everything was so delicious but the spicy pork was definitely my favorite. I’m so excited to come back and try their other dishes. Everything was so clean and they never let my side dish bowl stay empty. Very generous and prompt with the refills. While dining, I saw a take out customer leave their drink behind and the cashier grabbed the drink and raced out to the customer’s car to make sure they got it. Such amazing service! I’m already trying to figure out when I come back here again
