Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. I was blown away how good the pan pizza was. Great seasoning and perfect crust. Can’t wait to try the Artisan crust next time! If you’re looking for a good pizza this is the place. The service was absolutely the best. Good job. you guys rock 7stone!

Busy place, apparently! We got take-out and drove from downtown to get it. The regular crust was good. Not a huge fan of the deep-dish. The toppings were decent and the cook on the pizza was nice. Not sure if I’d drive over 20 minutes for it again, though.

First time visiting & pretty disappointed to discover they’ve been around for a decade (we drove from the other side of the metro after seeing it on the Graziano’s page). Coal fire brick oven with the perfect charred crust & heat bubbles. Dave Portnoy went to the wrong places. Crust had zero flop, sauce was sweet, tangy, & savory. Very generous toppings & so much flavor. There’s not a better pizza in Central Iowa.

I got the large pizza with chicken, mushrooms and olives. There wasn’t much chicken and mushrooms on the pizza and the pizza was burnt on the crusts. The sauce seemed like something you would get at Walmart.

The plates were plastic and were all scratched up so it wasn’t too appetizing to eat on it. The service was ok, they were mostly on their phones but were still polite.

The bill for a large and small pizza was about $60 which is pretty expensive for mediocre pizza.

My son requested that the pizza be well done … So the pizza is not burned.

Delicious flavor. Generous service size.

They actually have very nice napkins for a pizza place. Did tear and crumble as I used it.

Wasn’t bad. Nice and hot. Strange experience trying to order. A second employee had to get the attention of cashier after some time to be able to order. It’s tasted fine. Strange having the thin crust sauce on top of the toppings and the sauce being cold. Had good flavor just different.
Cheese bread was nice and hot but left in the oven too long. Hard crust made the overall bread too hard to enjoy the cheese.
Marinara was tasty. Don’t get the salad. Not worth 6.50. No wonder I don’t see any pictures of it. Think of a small Casey’s sandwich container with lettuce and a cup of dressing.
Nice clean place. Glad I tried it but for the size and price not sure I would go back.

7 Stone has been our favorite pizza since we discovered it a couple of years ago. However, the last two pizzas we ordered have had way too much sauce and toppings which makes the usually crispy crust really soggy and therefore the slices are difficult to pick up and eat without most of the toppings sliding off onto the plate. Also, the last pizza we ordered had sausage on it which was either overcooked or had been previously cooked and then cooked again which made it very dry and tough. Up until these last two orders, the sauce/topping to crust ratio was absolutely spot on and all the ingredients were really fresh and cooked well. Not sure what is happening there but we will try it one more time and hopefully it will be awesome again!

My husband and I were looking for a wood fired pizza place around the Des Moines metro and this place is by far the best we’ve had and we’ve tried quitw a few places. We drive 25 minutes across town to eat here!
The sauce is wonderful! Toppings are always good. This is our second time coming and will NOT be our last.
