I recently had the most exquisite catering order from 7 Monk’s Cafe. The food was delicious and catered to every age group. The order varied from buffet to grazing table. All items were carefully planned and executed with so much love. Neeta Tai was hands-on throughout the whole event and heavily involved and excited in the pre-planning stages as well.

Tried the new Hara Bhara kebab and aloo paneer tikki today. Paired with the green and brown (medium spicy) sauce, is a treat! The restaurant was kind enough to consider adding it to a wrap (instead of falafel) – it was truly delicious. Have visited the restaurant nanny times over the last few years, it remains wonderful.

First time, very welcoming and helpful staff member at the counter. After looking at the menu which offered vegan and vegetarian options as well as protein add one. I ordered the daal classic, which is like lentil soup with side of rice and the person helping me asked if I wanted garlic or regular naan. I also ordered hummus and pita appetizer (all to go). The cost was $26.08 which felt a little high considering there is no meat or drink and it was lunch time. I gave $30 rest to tip. I received a brown bag that was stapled shut, I assumed all was good. I got home to find I didn’t have the hummus and instantly felt sad because I wanted to try it and it was half of my order. The garlic naan and daal was good, I wish I went spicer with it as I chose the medium. I may give this place another shot as they had a great menu plus the meal was delicious. I’m just not so about how expensive it was for what I didn’t receive.

Second time visiting here. Food is amazing no matter what I have ordered or tried of other people’s order. Also great drink and dessert choices.

We truly enjoyed our first experience at 7 Monks. They feature Indian “home cooking” in a comfortable a peaceful setting. We were greeted by deer grazing next door and there was ample parking away from the circle. The Tikka Masala was rich and creamy and the Lamb Biryani had the perfect balance of spices. This spot is definitely going in the rotation!

Went for the season pumpkin curry with chicken and ask for spicy along with some garlic naan. Curry was absolutely delicious and the spice was perfect.

We were there for lunch. This place has great decor with so many books, and the vibe is nice. They serve dishes kind of in a to-go box, but you can dine in here. The service was excellent and the food was great. They have dishes from both Indian and Mediterranean cuisine. The price is also very affordable. They have outdoor seating as well.

As a vegan, it’s difficult to find a place where my whole family can enjoy food. My family is not vegan so it’s a huge challenge. 7 Monks Indian and Mediterranean has a separate menu for vegan entrees. Their receipts even specifies what is vegan and vegetarian. The food was amazing too! The service was so helpful letting me know what is best. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This was our first time trying this place, and this was all the food we got for $51.80. I think the onion pakora was the only thing that was worth the price for what we got. And the quality of the food was pretty meh.
My partner got the Vindaloo curry, which was basically spicy tomato soup, with like a half potato and 6 pieces of cauliflower for $14. They also complained of it being super watery, and they wouldn’t recommend it. It wasn’t worth the price at all.
The chicken biryani was okay, but for some reason had a lot of water in the bottom? Several bites tasted very watery. The gravy sauce they used was also very bland.
The onion pakora was okay, but heavily seasoned, way too salty.
The baklava was $5 for a tiny piece, as well as the gulab jamun, 2 pieces for $5? Many Indian restaurants give one to each person for free after their meal.
The samosas were the best thing there. But it’s hard to mess up fried food.
I think this place is focused on first time customers. Which was why everything was made cheap but at a high price. We unfortunately will not be going back. If you read these reviews and see the restaurant reply, don’t assume the restaurant made changes since seeing these comments. We assumed that and it was a mistake.

So good! I had the Dubai chocolate with my order and pumpkin chia. I would definitely order them again! I had the chicken vindaloo at a spice of 2 and I might want to dial it back one next time. I really enjoyed the garlic naan with it! Hands down my fave Indian food in town.
