What better way to celebrate the coast than to take in the sprawling Coos Bay views while enjoying the bounty of the sea and soil? Every table has a view of the water, so you’ll have to sit somewhere new each time to choose your favorite vantage point. With two levels of dining, each with its own bar, we had plenty of space to fill. All of the art you’ll see throughout the Alehouse was purchased from Coos Bay artists, the dishware from potters at Alehouse pottery, and the furniture from local craftspeople. Perfectly complementary to the 7 Devils’ beer list, our Alehouse food menu features a heavy-handed provision of seafood caught right here by local fishermen, hauled into Charleston on local vessels.

We’re traveling through and thus place showed up on top of the local list. Totally worth a stop here! It’s Sunday night, so not as busy but reservations might be in order other times. The servers were polite and helpful with duet restrictions. His calamari and clam chowder were great. Crispy, lightly breaded calamari is perfect with the creamy chowder served here. The fish ordered with a salad was delicious! My only complaint that the beautiful carrot strips were really hard to stab with a fork to eat them. Yummy beverages rounded out the meal. They even had a no seasoning burger for the dog. Recommended!

I had the fish burger (added avocado); my sexy husband had the burger (added bacon and Tillamook cheddar). Both of us loved what we got. Coos Bay can sometimes be hit or miss with restaurants. This place is a winner! Great food, service, beers and views. We’ll come back with others soon!

We were there about an hour to an hour and a half. The wait was about 20 minutes we got there about 7 on a Saturday night so not to bad. We got 2 orders of the halibut and chips, calamari, clam chowder and chocolate bar with 3 soft drinks. Total was about $150. The calamari was way too overdone and hard. The server walked past our dirty table with empty drinks many times. The coleslaw was very dry with no flavor. The fries were amazing! And the clam chowder was very well made! There was not a lot of parking if your a truck or anything bigger then a suv.

7 Devils was a great spot and a must try! We were in Coos Bay for a camping trip and found this place on the water and tried it for lunch and for dinner while in town. It is definitely the nicest restaurant in town and has beautiful views and great atmosphere. My husband and friends said the fish and chips were amazing- specifically the halibut. I had the BLT and meatloaf- both amazing. The Spindrift IPA was delicious, I even bought more at the campground we stayed at that was selling local beers. We even bought shirts here for the memory!

Great selection of tasty beers and a full kitchen menu. They also have a cool waterfront location right on the bay. I would highly recommend trying one of their beautifully crafted salads or even their classic fish and chips.

Very busy when we got there. Glad we made reservations. Waited about 5 minutes for our table to be ready which was fine. The waiting area is comfortable, or you can stand outside and enjoy the beautiful view.
The server was great, very friendly and knowledgeable, took great care of us. The bussers did a great job taking care of our plates and filling our waters.
The rock fish was delicious and fresh tasting. The breading is extremely good. The smoked meatloaf was one of the best my husband has ever tasted. Our favorite part of the meal was definitely the clam chowder. It was perfect and delicious. Also, yummy beer and cocktails.
We sat inside downstairs, in the very back and the view was amazing! Beautiful sunset that I wish I had gotten a photo of. If the late evening weather had been warmer, we definitely would have sat outside but it was lovely inside.
Great experience overall, looking forward to our next meal here!

Nice views of river and service was good. The food was average. Burger was ok. More bun than burger. Soup was delicious. Good place for a bite. Drink was also very good. Garlic Bread was great and the apps all looked tasty.

We did a last-minute Valentines Day trip and found this place via Google reviews. The food was excellent, my husband had the fish and chips and I had the pork belly. Such a treat! The Valentines special cocktail was yummy (can’t remember what it was called though) and we were able to bring our dog. They even had a beef patty for the pup, which made her night extra special! We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

This place is in a fairly new retail complex positioned right on the river, which we had a nice view of. Our service was on the slow side, but our waitress did tell us after she brought our orders out that my fish had been dropped, so the had to grill a fresh one. My wife’s tea refill also took far too long. My wife enjoyed her rice bowl. My salad was good, but could have used a bit more flavor.

Went here for the first time for my Birthday, on a friend’s recommendation. Had a great a time with some good food. The staff were friendly and very on top of things. I had the in house made bratwurst it was quite good. Ask for extra gravy for the spetziel! Cocktails were good they have an interesting variety.
The smoked fish platter appetizer is excellent!
Food was great, service was great and atmosphere was great. Be a good spot in the summer to sit outside right in the water, the view is great.
