Awesome place. Tami was a fantastic server, she made me feel like I was part a family even though I was having dinner alone. a welcoming vibe for anyone. Main dish came out in less than 12 minutes after I ordered. The soup and salad came out first in less than 3 minutes. Maybe I just had perfect timing but it seemed very fast and the food was a great deal for the quality and presentation

Really high ratings but we didn’t have a great service here. Seated quickly and then nobody came to our table for more than 10 minutes. Place wasn’t very busy on the night that we came but it was pretty loud and lots of plates and dishes were being dropped everywhere. Almost like it was a competition. We just came for dessert and coffee and once we got visited by our waitress whose name is in the receipt she was very abrupt and short with us. She came back about 5 minutes later and got us our coffee and then came back 10 minutes later to get our dessert order. I have to say the desert was really good, the apple nachos was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had anywhere. It’s kind of amazing though that both of these desserts are $6.99 one of them is barely enough for one person and the other one is enough for five people. I don’t think I’m coming back here.

I got the 3 ribs with mash potatoes and green beans. We also got the hamburger steak with mash potatoes and green beans. Before the meal, I had a salad and cup of soup. We also had scones with butter. I like looking at the little general store that has souvenirs and other trinkets.

I had the Breakfast Sandwich, which is two pancakes with a cooked egg, hash browns, bacon in the middle. It was good, though to make it easier to eat I should have pulled the bacon out.

Our waiter was great but I definitely don’t have anything else good to say about this place, my burger was super cheap, my wife’s ribs were super chewy and pretty terrible. They came with a really crappy house salad and a side potato. My wife didn’t eat the ribs at all so they offered to take the ribs off our bill but said they would still charge us for the potato and salad. The rib meal was $12 and the potato and house salad separately were $5 and $6. Definitely won’t be going back.

We were on a road trip and drove and extra 40+ minutes and passed quite a few other restaurants to try this place, only to arrive at 9:20PM to locked doors. Their posed hours said they were open until 10PM, but the waitress out back smoking cigarettes said they closed early due to low business. We were incredibly disappointed and hungry. There were still people inside at tables and we were still turned away during business hours. I’d like to know if the owner is aware of how their employees are treating people who planned to pay and dine there, and I’d like to caution other travelers to not trust their hours. Maybe call ahead or don’t pass up other good options to go to this place.

Located on the Main Street in Vernal, this restaurant reflects the town- Western, friendly, and welcoming. The interior was well ventilated with plenty of seating including booths and tables by the window. They treated strangers like locals, and solo travelers as kindly as families. Incredible root beer float and one of the best Ruben sandwiches I have eaten anywhere,.

The food overall was poor, some things were pretty good like the sourdough bread if you were actually given service from the waitress to get some jam or anything else you might need… but she was standing around just fine. It seemed like the regulars were given good service and there is specific menu items like their pancake egg sandwich that I can only imagine is what keeps the lights on and the doors open, but $40 for a prepackaged bowl of rice Krispys and a soggy extremely undercooked omelet paired with burnt home fries you can’t even chew…. when that is the case I really don’t see where it is acceptable for the service to actually be worse than the food. After everything, I had to go up to a different waitress at the drink station for a to go cup for my leftover power aid (because honestly, I felt like I was straight robbed and wanted my drink at least for crying out loud I waited after getting the ticket for 15 minutes staring the waitress down, plates stacked on top of food on the other plates all on the table, before I went to the other waitress to ask her for a empty to go cup.) Still, didn’t even look my way after I went to get help from the other lady for myself, clearly not happy

Of three meals two were fine. The third was double cut prime rib. The meal was ordered medium rare. When the first meat came out it was blackened. They took it back. The next piece came out it was cooked medium to medium well. It was also so tough it could not be eaten. When the waitress came back she said the manager told her he was sorry. She left the check. Upon looking at the check it was for the full price of all three meals. When she came back we let her know. She went and talked to the manager again. When she came back she said he would charge full price for each of the sides. This means the 30.00 meal still cost 21.00. so double prime rib is only 9.00. then on check out at the register we were charged 3.10 for using a credit card. This will be my last trip to the restaurant. Let me be very clear. The waitress was awesome. In no way can she be faulted in the poor food and managerial service.
