Great corner bar. The food is always hot and fresh. Their house hot sauce is incredible. Best Buy is the freshly fried chicharrones with queso dip and the house hot sauce. Incredible. Dive bar vibe but clean and chill, not scary.

Bartenders are friendly and efficient. This is not just a beer bar either, full bar with great selections of liquors. The wall facing the street opens on warm nights for fresh air and a view. Great location for a post-work drink or for live music when they have it. There is a shelf of boards games in the back. I have never hard a bad time here.

Check their FB page for live music schedule. This place has renovated a couple times and just keep getting better. My fav bar in Lafayette.

Yummy tacos, good beer, really good cheese and chips they make themselves, perfectly salted and crispy. I want to dip my butt cheeks in the cheese and slide across the floor all while listening to type of negative. Great sound track with awesome food. I highly recommend the 6th street cerveza with the steak taco salad! That’s my go to. You also get a cool hat if you dont eat it with the salad.

Drinks are consistently solid, the vibe is relaxed, and the service really separates this bar from the rest in West Lafayette. Kreigh is exactly who you want behind the bar at a dive—always friendly, remembers your drink, and somehow keeps everything running smoothly even when it’s slammed. Just an all-around great bartender who makes the place better. Super easygoing, good vibes, and they make the bar feel like a place you actually want to hang out. Definitely will be returning.

I love 6th Street Dive! It’s one of the best places in town to get food later in the evening, and they have great vegetarian options. The staff is always friendly, but sometimes it can be pretty hot and stuffy inside the building.

This hard to see bar serves up some good food.

We started with the chips and guacamole and found that they have some of the best tortilla chips in town. They are hot and crisp. The guac is fresh as well.

We then had the Knucklehead Burrito and the Italian special. Both were pretty good and portions are generous. The burrito had an overwhelming number of tater tots in it. Definitely not a place to go for health food.

They also serve brunch on some days (you might want to check in advance). It’s really solid, and the jalapeno waffles are outstanding!

Great dive bar! Tasty Tex-Mex food and solid staff (esp Austin & Kreigh). The daily specials are always good, and it’s really nice to have a place with the kitchen open late.

We stop here every year on the way to Indianapolis for the 500. Great vibe. Decent selection of beers. Amazing pork tenderloin sandwich. See y’all next year on the Friday before Memorial Day.

Word of advice to their chefs.Do not refry french fries. We can tell when it’s done, especially when you have spent twenty years in a kitchen. Normally I have fantastic food. It’s situations like this that make me not wanna eat here. That tells me that they’re being too lazy to drop another basket of french fries. This is why I have been skipping the french fries ever since i’ve been coming to this establishment. This isn’t the first time i’ve been dissatisfied with the french fries. I normally sub them from onion rings tonight.Somebody had requested french fries as well as onion rings. Il I once again will be foregoing.French fries from here on out. At this point, consumers expect fresh food.Considering the prices, we have to pay. I’m sorry that the cooked in the moment didn’t feel that I was worth dropping a fresh batch of fries for. Thats how i feel about it. In reality, will I still come to the establishment Of course!!!! I just won’t order your crappy french fries. At this point, they equate to steak and shake french fries in my eyes. Worthless french fries. Again. Chicken is Fanatasic. Just skip their frys.

Food is excellent! We had the fried pickles, tamales, fried chicken and tacos. The fried foods were a bit oily, but nice and crisp! The Mexican was really flavorful and fresh. Will be back!
