First time here at 6th Alley Bar & Grill, and it was a great experience. The place was packed when we arrived, but we were greeted by Kaitlyn, who was incredibly busy yet still so professional and friendly. She was running the host stand, clearing tables nonstop, and somehow still greeting everyone with a smile. You could tell she was busting her ass, and it really showed how much she cares.

We only waited about 15 minutes, which honestly was impressive given how busy it was. Our server Ashley greeted us promptly and was absolutely amazing. We let her know we weren’t in a rush, and she made the entire experience relaxed and enjoyable. She kept our drinks full, gave great food and drink recommendations, and was attentive the whole time — all while clearly handling a busy section.

The barbacoa quesadilla and wings were beyond amazing — seriously don’t skip the cherry habanero sauce.

Both Kaitlyn and Ashley had positive attitudes, friendly smiles, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Amazing service from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

I enjoy going here after a ride down the slopes. Good prices for a mountain with fun staff. Feels
like a local lodge with a great atmosphere.

I noticed that my 1 star review disappeared so I re posted it. I was there in July 2022. If you don’t want to read all of below I am just saying that the food is good but check your credit card statement as they double charged me almost $80 for a burger, soda and one beer. It was supposed to be $40. Had to waste time contacting the credit card company to get my $40 back.
Update November 2022:
I have been looking at my financial statements from the entire 20 day trip across the country and noticed that this place double charged my credit card! Out of all the places I visited, in my 20 day trip this place double charged me! And they didn’t even look at their statements to see a possible mistake because that’s what a good business will do. So watch out when you eat there. I don’t care what my review was previously, when I get screwed with my money, their rating goes down! I will edit this if this business refunds me the $37+ that I got overcharged for the burger, beer and soda.

Original review July 2022 :
I had the 6th Alley burger and it was the best. Family staff answered a lot of my questions I had about the local area and did not rush me out of the place which was great. Prices are a little higher than reasonable for the location but that is to be expected. I don’t mind paying a little bit extra for a restaurant that is open High up in the mountains far from the city. I know it cost more money to haul up supplies and food to 11,000 feet. Menu had lots of delicious looking choices I would recommend this place if you visit the Loveland Pass a little higher up the road or the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area right next to it.

Stopped by for lunch with friends during the off-season and it was a much more relaxed vibe than in winter. Outdoor patio seating was very nice and scenic, indoor seating was chill. Food was delicious with decent portion sizes. Southeast bowl and ice cream cookie were the way to go!

I always round up my restaurant receipts to the nearest dollar. My receipt came out to $76.43, in which I tipped slightly above 15% (added $11.57) to a total of $88.00 even. Of course, they didn’t give me a customer copy and a restaurant copy, so I wasn’t able to keep one copy for myself. Today I looked at my credit card statement and saw that I was charged $91.43. Not cool.

This is the lodge at a Basin ski area. It’s got good hamburgers. I had a giant pile of nachos that was astoundingly tall. They’ve got Coco and coffee and of course alcohol and beer Bear. Bloody Mary’s are the most famous thing I can see on the menu if you’re looking to get an abasin mug, you’ll need to get there before sunrise on opening day because they sell out that test for the seasonal mugs. There are glasses and mugs in the gift shop adjoining the building

Amazing views and vibes, especially from the sun-drenched deck. Our food was average, and expensive, but expected for the place. Still a cool place with good staff. Sep 2022

Our service was super slow we waited around 45 minutes for 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and a kale salad. When we finally got the food it was just ok nothing special. The reason I’m not giving them any lower stars is because it was kinda nice to take a little break from skiing and have them serve you instead of having to do a cafeteria style lunch. They also took 20% off our order because it took so long that shows me that there service is usually quicker and something might have been going on in the kitchen today but I think they are probably faster service. They really showed they cared and were sorry that our order took so long and even gave us free stickers, on that note I have to say their customer service was really good.

Amazing food and service.
We got to the restaurants and it was packed, I immediately thought and said “we are not gonna get our food for a good hour” Boy was I wrong!
Within 20 minutes we got our order got our food and drinks.
We started with the hummus appetizer, good portions.
I ordered the salad with chicken, it was Huge!! Very good and the chicken was well cooked. Tender and not hard or old.
My girlfriend got the caprese sandwich and she really liked it. And the fries were different than your typical fries and really good.
Very generous with their food.
Much needed after a ski day.
