This place is absolutely amazing. The food is expensive but you get large portions and almost everyone from our table took a doggy bag home! I had the chicken and it was super juicy. The sides are so big they can be shared with the table. The atmosphere is perfect right off the lake but parking can be kinda hard. They do have valet which was $10 last night but I got lucky and found a place in the parking lot. All in all great people, our waitress Jen was great, she was on top of things. It’s nice to hang out and enjoy the view with good friends.

Had a client dinner and man, what an amazing place with super friendly and attentive staff. Per recommendation started with octopus, calamari and beef tartar. Octopus could have been better but the other two dishes were amazing. For main course went with the scallops with sides of Brussel sprouts and cauliflower. All were super amazing. Topped off with the 50 shades of chocolate cake and red velvet with coffee. Personally, I loved the chocolate cake.

We’re pretty disappointed with the service. It was unusually hot outside that day, so we requested to relocate to the inside, but management (according to our server, Kevin) refused our request stating that our food had arrived. I can understand if this was a low-end restaurant, if it was busy, or if we already had appetizers and drinks. But it definitely wasn’t a low end according to other reviews. It wasn’t busy because we were there at 2 PM, and there wasn’t much to move. Very poor customer service.

Beautiful waterfront place, especially sitting outdoors. Classy with amazing service ( Thank you Dean) The seafood was fantastic (seared scallops and Chilean Sea bass). Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Besides the view of the lake, this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Very overrated. Overpriced with poor service. I made outside reservations for my birthday, and the whole experience felt rushed. The waitress acted as if we bothered her for our orders. She was clearly annoyed with our party of 8. The drinks were watered down. The appetizers were just okay. I guess I was the wrong color because we weren’t given cake for my birthday celebration, but another table was. Go figure. We were a table of nurses, techs, and health care professionals. But, she clearly prejudged us. Thanks for ruining my birthday 6Smith. I’ll never patron this restaurant again.

The ribeye, the calamari, the bass, and the scallops dish were all delicioso! Great view of the lake of course. We went out to the lake area with beautiful boats right outside the restaurant and took many pictures. Great experience.

This week, 6Smith outdid itself with a Quadruple Turkey Cheese & Mushroom Burger that could only be described as a feast for the senses. If the sheer volume of four seasoned turkey burgers doesn’t get your attention, the blend of Swiss, Cheddar, Gouda, and American cheeses surely will. The toasted Ciabatta with a swipe of Chipotle Aioli serves as a sturdy base that’s further enriched by house-made Bacon Jam, Roasted Mushrooms, and Caramelized Onions.

Our first time at 6Smith was a truely wonderful experience. From where we were seated by the bar to our server, Jen, everything was perfect. We started with the Bread is Life appetizer, which is to die for. Of course we each had to try a drink from the lunch menu, so we tried the Brooklyn Bonfire and the Blueberry Yum Yum. So good!
