What a fun place! They host karaoke nights frequently, and they have huge TVs, so this seems like a fun place to come and watch a game if you’re into sports! Their menu has a lot of great apps and drinks. We tried the corn ribs (very unique!) and the beef tenderloin tips. Not pictured: catfish nuggets. The corn ribs were juicy, sweet, and had a nice dusting of parmesan on top. This is a great app if you want something on the lighter side. The beef tenderloin tips are the star of the show, though. They are served with a chipotle sauce and these gorgeous, perfectly fried onion rings, and sauteed peppers and onions. You can also get this as an entree and they serve it with a side of yellow rice. The catfish nuggets are sized generously – I think they are technically listed in the apps section (I could be wrong) but you can absolutely share these with a friend. There are more things on this menu I would love to try such as their nachos and their mac and cheese hot dish. Hope to be back soon!

Good place to have a beer, grab a decent meal. They have lots of indoor seating and a patio right across from mears park. Got the shrimp po boy sandwich, and it was good albiet difficult/messy to eat. Friend got the smash burger and said it was “top 3 burger in Saint Paul”, while I didn’t try it to confirm that statement. We tried the cornbread which was tasty as well. I’m happy another establishment is in lowertown, providing options. Definitely better than the bulldog….I’ll be coming back, for sure.

6ixMears is a great place to catch a game in Lowertown. They have great game day specials. The everyday happy hour is good too. Great bar food options, but the star is the wings! Info with dry run every time and I’m never disappointed.

My favorite place to go in St Paul for good vibes and music! For a nice 30+ crowd I recommend going on Fridays, and for a 21 + vibe go on a Saturday. The food is delicious and so are the punch bowls and drinks. Lots of seating and a great happy hour.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with an incredible energy. The vibe is upscale but inviting, making it perfect for both a night out or a classy date night. The food is nothing short of spectacular—every dish is crafted with precision and bursting with flavor. On top of that, the staff is not only attentive but absolutely stunning—professional and personable with genuine warmth.
If you’re looking for amazing food, top-tier service, and an unforgettable ambiance, 6ix Mears Park delivers on all fronts. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is insane. Ever since they’ve opened, they’ve got absolutely no control over their patrons: yelling & fights on the sidewalk all night during the weekend, illegal parking up 6th & Wacouta — not to mention much traffic absolutely blocking an entire lane on 6th, causing traffic to be backed up or stalled out at 1am. This causes more noise issues as the busses are just trying to run their routes and then have to honk to get traffic to clear.
Not happy with this addition to Lowertown, it doesn’t fit the area and has become a huge nuisance to its residential neighbors. Maybe if they can tamp down the alcohol sales to their overserved patrons, it might fit the area a bit better, but as it stands it’s very rowdy.

The atmosphere was great, staff was great but the two female bar tenders were awkward with my wife and I to the point we had to address it. One fixed it with a free drink but my wife shouldn’t have had to go in on her for being weird. Not sure if we’ll return.

The stand out here was the service! We visited late on a Friday looking for an open kitchen and were seriously wowed by the service!! The food is standard bar food, nothing too special but it was fast and tasty. But seriously our bartender was so on top of her game, checking in, refilling drinks, everything! This place might be a bit confused on if it wants to be a sports bar or club but if the service is always this good it’s worth a visit.

I made a reservation for 8 a month on advance. I got confirmation sent to my phone AND my email. I even called to see if I could increase it to 10 but was informed that they only do tables up to 8. I get there tonight and was that they were full and it’s standing room only. I showed them proof but was sent away. They had bus loads of people that arrived in support of the Bears. I, too was dressed in my Bears gear. I ended up go elsewhere and had a ball with my family!!! I would have dressed differently had I known this was gonna happen. I’ll NEVER go to this place again.

Really great bar for lower town, I live walking distance, and I come in Thursday nights for karaoke and Rachel is hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had, she recommended the burger and it was definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had! The drinks were top tier, and she interacts with her customers, will be continuing coming in every week!
