Man… Was a bit disappointed with their Encanto location. I’ve been to their National City spot and was pretty satisfied with their food. The meat was a bit dry and by the time I got my order, it went from a “Birria Taco” to 3 Cilantro tacos. Don’t get me wrong, as mostly any person from a Mexican background and upbringing, we can do cilantro… But this was a little over the top. Won’t completely rule them out for another round ..will keep my fingers crossed In getting the National City location experience next time.

Got a birria taco and horchata, I definitely liked it… these other reviews have to be coming from competitors because the birria was flavorful, taco was packed with meat and yes they use a heavier hand with the cilantro but its easy to sweep off. Horchata is made there (not the powder mix, I asked) and the tortillas are so fresh even at noon.

Poor establishment. The bathroom was very unpleasant. The food isn’t good and not enjoyable. Unfortunately, I ate it only because I had already paid for it.
Customer service is unpleasant, careless, and unprofessional.

Went in and met Manuel. He was very nice. He let me charge my phone, and I bought my 3 Birria tacos. Did not know they were going to be that good. Their salsa is amazing. The birria had great flavor. Tortillas were cooked to perfection. And Manuel was fast. You could tell he’s been doing this for a while. Very professional. The consommé was delicious. Can’t wait to go back. Thank You again Manuel.

Edited this post after several issues.
I’ve had multiple issues with this particular location regarding the time they open and close. It was 5:30 PM when i arrived,, there’s sign on the window with the close time at 6pm. Be when i walk to the door thats still open and the open sign hanging from it, they turn me away because they are closed. Honestly they have good food, but it doesn’t matter to if I can not eat it… Management needs to address this issue. You already lost my business.
