This is one for the memory bank. We called in an order ahead of time while traveling rte 66. We arrived, and everything was almost ready. Realizing we needed an additional plate, we took the opportunity to break from the 1000 mile road trip. The kids were entertained on their air hockey and pool table as we waited for our additional items to be prepared with pride. The service was worth the price and wait. The detour was added value. We loaded up on chicken and waffles, REAL burgers and fries and drove past the other typical fast food franchises on our travels. Glad we did!

The restaurant is now open again and is a buffet that is truly under new management and ownership, Carrolle is the owner of this restaurant. I went for the dinner buffet and got full before I could finish my plate. There were many items to choose from.

The restaurant was so nice! It has a very homemade feel. We went there twice and both times it was (sadly) rather empty. I don’t understand why! The food was amazing and the owner was super nice! We took so long chatting with her we left a good hour after we intended for our road trip!

Food was terrible, we ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuits aren’t made from scratch. They use the Pillsbury ready to bake and their gravy had lumps of flour that wasn’t ready, in addition the business used a small pot for coffee, people came in and not enough pot of coffee to go around. As I was ready to check out, the lady calculated the amount on a paper, which I found strange. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment.

Waffles!!! Eat here and support a marine veteran! Many menu items are family recipes and we ate there when they’ve just been open a week. This is separate from the 66 motel so don’t let those reviews scare you!
Waffles!!!! They are made from scratch batter, family recipe. Some food is a little more basic, but all is clean and supplied, lots of condiments on the tables
I would rather support this restaurant (and have a waffle for dinner!) than go to a chain in town. Give them a chance!

New owners eager to please. Great menu. Their sweet raspberry tea is to die for. Great service, great food. We both ate for less than $20.

Nice quaint resteraunt. Very nice and friendly, went to eat breakfast. The food was quite fulfilling, even got extras! The resteraunt keeper pretty much runs the place solo, she was very accommodating and made the experience pleasant. Got a chance to talk a little and learned some interesting facts about the small town of Holbrook. Overall this is a place worth checking out if your in town and don’t want the fast food options which there are plenty and give a small business a chance to settle your hunger needs!

Don’t go here. Got what I think was Pepsi. It was warm and flat. Had flies flying all over us. We were brought dirty menus that were printed on a computer. Had one sip of Pepsi and we left. They actually charged us for the drinks.
