VERY GOOD food!!!!! I had the smothered burrito with green sauce. That was the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had, and SPICY!! The home made tortilla is so worth it. My girlfriend also absolutely loved her food.

I haven’t visited this little cafe location for a very long time and at least two business and ownership iterations, but today (on a whim), I decided to take my brother there for our monthly “birthday breakfast gift celebration.”
The most recent reviews spoke highly about the food, and the service, and how “customers” are made to feel like “family.”

It felt like being at home (in southeast New Mexico), I won’t tell you what we ate (smothered burritos and a bowl of beans ), because you will want to decide for yourselves what reminds you of home.
Hwy 64 Cafe gets “five stars,” “two thumbs up,” and is definitely in our rotation for future “birthday breakfasts” (and I will probably sneak in a few)! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So toda6bi decided to try the Navajo burger, and wow, did it look and taste horrible. Just have a look at my picture of it. There was so much grease on the frybread. So one definitely needs to show whoever made that frybread how to make a good Frybread. The meat tasted plain, no salt, nor flavor. This burger had no lettuce, and tomatoes were too thin. What was funny was I only got two little round slices of pickles.
So I wanted to go see the hype about this place, and OMG, this place is a 5 star breakfast. My pancakes had a krispy to it. And it was soft and moist in the middle, just the way I like it. Also, my bacon was crispy the way. I like my bacon, too. And my hash. Browns also had a crunch and soft in the middle superdelicious. If you never stop by here, you need to check it out. These ladies here were very nice and kind. I want to thank you all for a great experience. I will be back again and again.

Saw this little spot from the road near my motel. Decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. Huevos Rancheros for the win!
Even though I love to travel, I get a bit stressed out when away from my “nest.” Pauline and staff went out of their way to make me feel like I was a guest at the family’s home table. It is clear they love what they do.
Will definitely make a point to eat here again when in Farmington!

I waked in about 130p for lunch. First impression was that the building is old and the mold or mildew scent assaulted me as I walked in. After the moldy assault I was greeted by a guy asking “how many, cash or card?” I responded with “just me, and card” to which I was informed they are only serving cash customers.
So I left, never to return.
Small businesses offer such crappy experiences like this to customers, then complain when we go to the corporate restaurants.

Amazing burritos on homemade tortillas. The green Chile sauce is super flavorful and perfectly compliments the very large breakfast burritos. Staff is helpful and friendly with a down home charm. Restaurant is clean and inviting even if the tables and chairs are a little old and well worn.
