Service here is always incredible. NA cocktails are delicious, one of the best place in the area for a mocktail. Dinner is wonderful, I highly recommend the pork chop and the duck.

One of the best-tasting meals I’ve had in the last couple years. We were there to celebrate a birthday, and all six of us enjoyed our chosen entrees immensely. Their apparently relatively new head chef is not afraid to be creative, and we were all the beneficiaries of his creative talent. Even though he was apparently not there that evening, the staff admirably reproduced his recipes.
Finished off the meal with a couple very tasty ports, from a fairly diverse set of selections available.
Atmosphere is comfortable, friendly, and unhurried, but almost a little too plain considering the total check. Music was mostly familiar classic rock, and while I like most of it, maybe a bit a dissonant choice?
All in all, while we certainly can’t spend that much too often, we’re very much looking forward to returning when we’ve next got a reason to celebrate and substantiate the expense.

The food presentation was pretty, but the salmon was so salty! Had to scrape off the top because I couldn’t taste the fish, only the seasoning. The service was slow but they were pretty busy so I’ll cut them some slack. All I can say is I was definitely hydrated by the end of the meal to quench all that salt.

Attended a dinner here for a graduation of a friend from VA Tech. A reservation was made for 14 people. We arrived and were greeted by the host.
The host verified the table was ready and then we were shown to the table. I had no idea how big this place is! You walk in and there is a bar area, but the restaurant is huge and has a lot of tables.
Our waiter was prompt and and got the beverages going and appetizers ordered. When the restaurant of the party showed up orders were taken. I ordered the risotto with shrimp.
The wait for the food was less than 30 minutes which was pretty good for a party of 14! The waiter was excellent with refills for drinks.
My risotto unfortunately did not come with the shrimp as ordered. I also found the dish way too sweet. It was more like a dessert. I was offered a free dessert l, but they ran out of the cake.
With good service like that I would definitely go back and try the place again. Orders can get mixed up and the customer service shows this place cares about the dining experience.

I’m not exactly sure how to rate this place. It looks like a dive bar with sticky floors and mismatched furniture, but has a rather upscale menu and is definitely pricier than expected.
They have a great variety of drinks and our cheese board and soup were delicious. The burger was just ok, but the service was great and both our waiter and the hostess were very friendly and welcoming.

We all enjoyed dinner (party of 5) celebrating a VT graduation. Food was good, as was service. Only complaint was that we were seated in an area that was exceptionally cold. Thanks to the waiter who finally plugged in a portable heater that kept us from freezing.

A nice stop in Blacksburg. My steak salad and chocolate cheesecake were both excellent. Wine was perfect. My husband had the meatloaf (needs some juice or gravy added). Brussels sprouts and artichoke dip were delicious as well. Our server was very nice. Excellent house dressings for the salad!

Came here with a client and had an excellent dinner. Our server, Michael, was attentive and engaging. The appetizers and main dishes were great. I had the Hokkaido scallops and strongly recommend them. My associate said the Pork Shank special was very tender. Will definitely come back next time we’re in town.

My son ordered a mocktail that he wound up not liking at all and the waiter had no qualms with replacing his drink, even taking it off the bill. They were also willing to make accommodations for our peanut allergies and they took it seriously.
I don’t remember there being a lot of parking available, but we walked from the college campus.
