This place is a solid dive bar that takes you right back to the ’70s. It’s not fancy, just good drinks at great prices. The place is super relaxed, and the crowd is friendly and laid-back. It’s in the heart of downtown. This bar is an adults type place, though—wouldn’t recommend bring the kids. If you’re looking for a no-frills spot to grab a drink and relax, this is it. Highly recommend!

Tired of all the trendy, overrated drinking spots in White Bear? Stop in to 617 and see what it was like to have a cocktail back in 1975.

Just stopped in for a drink before dinner. I had a Bloody Mary and my wife a draft beer. Always love stopping. Old school charm and excellent service.

Small cozy fun lounge. Been here a few times. Everything down to the light fixtures is original from the time it opened. Well kept up so the uniqueness of this is awesome. Prices are very good as well. Likely the best service in town. We just went again on Saturday and had a blast… Open late too.

Local spot with a classic feel that’s hard to replicate. Great drinks, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a great place to hang out for a night. Definitely worth checking out.

A hole in the wall bar that is a decent last stop when downtown white bear. The bar seemed to be filled with locals/regulars, which was definitely interesting to watch. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bar tender is quick to walk around to make sure that you have a drink. However, there is some weird shady vibe… still not a bad place if you dont want to go home after everything else shuts down in the area.

Best bartender ever… I have so much fun stopping by! Although I don’t go all the time I love how I am treated! Julie always has my drink ready before I sit down! I had a fantastic night chatting and catching up. You’re AMAZING!

Nice little townie bar, but definitely kind of a hole in the wall style. If the crowd accepts you, I’ve got a feeling it would be like Cheers in there, but to be a random group of ~30 year olds, wasn’t the most inviting environment. Service was solid though and beers werent exorbitantly expensive for no reason
