I was there on Saturday for their lunch buffet. But this was not my first time here!
The food is delicious! I love how they’ve decorated… Very warm and inviting! In the evenings it’s not uncommon for them to have live music or performances! I love the little robot that delivers your food! I also love the support the local arts! Besides the musicians that come through, the owner also really supports the visual arts too!
They can accommodate a solo person to a large group! And the owner is really nice! I would much rather support a locally owned business, than go to a chain.
A couple of years ago, I wasn’t able to go home for Christmas, and so i gathered a group of 13 other people who also couldn’t go home for Christmas… And we chose to eat Christmas day dinner at 615 Chutney. We wonderful time together!
The food? Absolutely delicious. I tried the dosa and kothu parotta, and both were packed with authentic South Indian flavor. The dosa was perfectly crisp, and the kothu had just the right amount of spice and texture—comfort food done right.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit spot for Indian food lovers. Great location, flavorful dishes, and a calm vibe. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
Their coffee is unique. Being a “coffee snob” I was pleasantly surprised. The folks that work there are great hosts. The food is excellent. Don’t forget to order any of the breads. Also, there is a great article on the wall about the owner. I encourage you to read it or get him to tell it to you while you are there. When you speak to him, it is as if you were being hosted at his home as the guest of honor. If I would have had time I would have just stayed there for dinner.
This is a fantastic restaurant, and we enjoyed every dish. We can’t wait to come back!
