This time I came for lunch. I got a booth with a nice view of the bar, and my server came immediately. I ordered the lunch special of Greek Salad and a pint of McConauhaze for $10.95. I added chicken to the salad for $3. The salad was crisp and fresh, and I appreciated the dressing coming on the side. The lunch special is choosing 2 of the following: beer, salad, pizza, with options among each choice. Love that! It’s clear the locals have heard, because there was a steady stream of people coming in.
Happy hour also is a great deal, and that’s on my agenda for next time. Need to get some of that amazing pizza!
Food is awesome. You can split it on two different sides with your friends or family. Perfect for people who are picky likewise and or don’t have enough space for a full pizza.
There are different pizza sizes, and some get massive. I don’t have a big enough stomach to deal with that however, so I’m not leaving a review based off of that.
I’d like to guess the service is much, much faster on weekdays and earlier in the day. Me and my friends went at about 8pm on a Saturday and it was packed, made customer service absolutely stalled for maybe a good 45 minutes. Gave my friend enough time to go down to the convenience store and come back even before our food was served.
I’d say the atmosphere is pretty good, there’s trivias you can play at the bar and the booths were comfortable. They set their temperature very very nice depending on the weather. The one thing I have to say — along with most restaurants so I don’t really feel like I get to say this (Mostly because I left my noise suppression headphones at home) but it’s loud. Really overstimulating, but I suppose that was my fault more than the restaurant’s fault.
Again this all comes from an autistic standpoint.
The pizza was delicious, crust was nice, toppings were nice and we added mushrooms and the beer choice was excellent, I had a Shiner Bock.
Noah is an outstanding server — fast, attentive, always on task, and genuinely friendly. 10/10 recommend asking for him if you stop in.
Management is also super cool and welcoming. I always enjoy the conversations when sitting at the bar. Highly recommend this place!
