We attended a special one-night only event featuring chef Amber Kuespert, showcasing Korean delights. The food did not disappoint! Excellent. Loved our waitperson; very sweet, friendly and prompt. We loved the lake community atmosphere; we felt welcomed, and fit right in with locals. They had an incredible selection of alcoholic beverages, as well.

If you’re going with a large party, I do not recommend. Went here for my sister in laws birthday and over all, had a terrible time. 45 mins between drinks, 2.5 hours for food and a rude bartender. Overall, not a pleasant time. While the food was good and I under stand staffing might have been new to the establishment, it still baffled me to see how senior staffing or even the owner did not step in to help with a large group. To top it off, 1 person in the party’s order was not placed and they had to wait an additional 20 or so mins for their food to come out while everyone else ate. The lady who was taking our drinks was great! But everyone else, terrible attitudes. Maybe as a couple or a small party this place is fine, but don’t go here to celebrate an event and think you’ll have the same experience. To top it off, the system “crashed” while getting our bills and then we had to dispute charges on the bills to get the right. Don’t worry, the automatic tip was sure to be accounted for.

I will never return to this place again. From what I over heard turn over is very high here which causes long delays in waiting for food an drinks. Went there as a party of 14 yes kinda large but all together there was 25 to 30 people in the whole place. Took 45 mins to get drink orders. An 2 hours to get food. Then they forgot to put my order in so by the time (extra 30 mins) my food arrived most of our party was done eating. Then to top it off it took over another hour just to get our Bill’s and they were wrong. Like how can me an my old lady order a drink each an they try an charge us for 6 over priced drinks? The food it self was ok once it arrived but until the owner can retain staff for longer then a week so they can get some good training i will probably not return. O and on a side note who ever was on stage singing, the husband an wife duo for the whole time we where there please dont quit your day job.

6 on James had the largest spirits list I’ve ever seen and a very good beer selection as well. Our server was extremely attentive and very nice as well. They also had some really enjoyable livw music playing. Only downside was the food. It wasn’t bad, but for the pricing, the portions were small and it tasted like cheap bar food. Not what we were expecting. Overall, it’s a place I’d enjoy visiting again.

This a nice setting on the lake. Their selection of bourbon is one of the best that I have seen. They have your standard bourbons as well as some nice allocated bourbons. The food was good but not amazing. Service seemed a little cold as the bar tender seemed to not be too concerned about our presence. Overall you need to visit this place and check out the bourbons. Maybe we just had an off night for the service.

Nice and cozy local restaurant. There are not a lot on the menu, but a good number of dishes so you don’t get overwhelmed, which I appreciated. They have live music when I was there and the atmosphere was incredible inside the restaurant. Food was great, cooked nicely and the staff were friendly. They have a good list of wine, beer and cocktails that you can choose from as well

Was very disappointed in our dinner tonight.
We usually go for a burger and music. Live Music was great. Unfortunately the meatloaf was very very dry and tons of onions. Husband got the Filet Mignon and baked potato. Potato good. Steak, never have we had a filet so thin. It seemed more like a skirt steak in look and taste. Manager took charge of for meatloaf, but I was super surprised they never offered a rush order on a replacement meal. Told me I was going to have to wait. Wouldn’t say that great customer service.

We went there for a Christmas party last Friday. We had reservations for 9 at 6pm Service was the worst ive experienced and we would have walked out if we didn’t bring other guests with us to try this restaurant we were excited about! After waiting 1 1/2 hours for our food ( 2/9 ordered salads) my husband went to talk to the owners husband who acted annoyed and said “your foods coming” after getting our meals at 8 we were extremely disappointed and embarrassed. My husband spoke with the owner she even complimented him on how respectful he was. she took his name and number and we have heard NOTHING. They haven’t cared about making this right. Not sure if my review will matter or the right people will see it but be cautious if you invite other people to this restaurant because it’s embarrassing. On a positive note our waitress was very friendly and we could tell she was trying her best without any support! Merry Christmas!!

We were attended a Christmas party here recently. Even with a reservation we waited over 2 hours for our food. We were expecting much more based on previous experience. I had been looking forward to having walleye or salmon. Unfortunately they are now have limited offerings most of which is typical bar food; not that good either! Tasted like prepackaged and reheated! Very disappointing in view of the good experience we had this summer.

We had been customers at their previous location and enjoyed every visit. I don’t know what happened between there and here, but the quality of the food definitely dropped. My last visit one plate was super hot while the other was completely cold. It was almost like the burger hadn’t been seasoned.
