I had a great time as usual at The 5S Lounge in Laurel. I met a lot of Great people and business owners. They also have good bar food and the drinks are on point. It’s always a vibe every time I go. If you’re looking for a late night spot to have a great time with friends and family, pull up to The 5S Lounge.

It was really really good. The food tasted good and it was quite a lot.. It is more on the expensive side but I think it was worth it. I gave them four stars because not everyone was wearing a mask. Also, it was hard to get help. At one point, someone who was leaving the kitchen saw me asking for help and completely ignored me. All in all good experience and I will be back!

A spacious, nice, and beautiful African restaurant that may double as a small event centre. Personally, I feel this place is underutilized, considering the large area and good parking. Was hanging out with a friend on a Wednesday night and it felt great. I ordered the Cameroon jollof rice with plantain and goat meat, it was really good.

Visited 5 sisters on 8/8/22 and it’s the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
**The host called Christian seemed super angry! I actually tried to cheer him up by cracking a joke but he got dismissive.
**The suya pictured in this review is 17.00. It was stale and crunchy! The plantains drenched in oil. Look at how that is served!
**The spicy goat, also 17.00 was just chunks of unseasoned boiled meat.
*I ordered pina colada and whatever this man served me, only God knows! I don’t think he knows what a pina colada is.
**The toilet was dirty with used toilet paper on the floor , dirty toilet pot.
Most disappointing restaurant!

They are just so inconsistent with their food. This was my last time giving them a chance. I typically order roasted fish and plantains and the last 3 times I’ve given them a try there was something off about the food or my order. One time the fish was over cooked and very dry. The second time, they didn’t give me any pepper sauce. And this last time, the fish just wasn’t good (flavor and texture) and they gave me bad onions and a few raggedy plantains. Prices went up, but portion size went down, and the customer service is lacking big time. I’ve had long waits for my to go orders and it’s just annoying to wait and then the food not be good.

Getting them took some time. The bartender responded rudely to my request for an update about my order. When I paid for it, she printed out the receipt, put it inside the booklet and threw the booklet at me.

I ordered egusi and this is what I got. It tasted nothing like egusi and looks nothing like egusi. I’m not sure what or who made this and thought it was a good idea, but please don’t do it again. I was highly disappointed with the meal. In addition, the atmosphere wasn’t ideal. It smelled like weed and weave. Please save your time and money by going somewhere else for some Naija food. Not this place. God forbid.

This food is dumpster trash food. Rice was hard as hell. Stew look like tomato sauce and oil. I’m going to do my tastebuds a favor and throw this food away.

Humblesoul Goodvibes
I order okra soup with fufu & instead they give me okra mix with what look like spinach & something else. Also the meet look like Intestines. What the fufu was wrapped in smelled like fresh fish. Seeing that I’m pregnant, I threw up after taking one bite of it. I’m never ordered from this place again! I’m really disappointed cause I was actually looking forward to this.
