Great staff and good food. The atmosphere for a 6 year old building already feels dated.
The sirloin steak is on par with salt grass if not better. The mac and cheese is better than Panera bread. Green beens are solid. Will come back here on vacation for great comfort food.

Nice, clean, air conditioned, and outdoor patio and decks for live music and crawdad buckets. So many buckets! The service was good, hustling out those crawfish and drinks. Good place for a stop after a day at the bay. Dogs allowed on the patio, a bonus.
Came back 2 years later and ordered a medium well steak and by pic they got it wrong. Steakhouse that can’t cook steak. May want to stick with the seafood stuff.

Definitely the best place in POC hands down. The managers did not want to give us a big table and were idiots for it. Eventually we talked someone into it with some sense. Taylor ended up waiting on us and getting several hundred dollar tip. The managers need to relax and give the customers what they want. But that seemed to be the theme in this whole town. Nobody knew service.

Ok my report on this restaurant. Excellent.
From the time we walked in with a warm welcome to a wonderful waitress. Her name was Cammie.
We were seated promptly and waitress was there within 2 minutes. She took our drink orders I had a mango margarita and Jimmy had tea(he’s driving). For appetizer we had spinach,artichoke and crab dip. Each came with in a very reasonable time.
For entree I had medium rare sirloin and he had chicken fried steak.
For sides I had baked potato and okra. Bobby had mac and cheese and baked potato. ( I always get onto him for having 2 starches. Lol)
Our meal came out within 15 minutes. The sirloin was a very nice size. She had me cut my steak to make sure. It was cooked to perfection. Love all the juices itt had. Jimmy liked his and it was a good size.
All in all we were very pleased and will return.
It is very nice inside. Loved all the huge fish.
We highly recommend.

I’m not sure what could’ve led to the bad service that we had but, it’s interesting to note that every time I visit someplace that I believe might have the kind of food I’m really craving, so that I could treat family, and no expense left unchecked, That you would begin the experience with wondering if you’re gonna get seated.
True, we may have looked like we just got done fishing for 10 hours, but so did a lot of other folks
I especially liked it when one of the workers mentioned that they were really busy and that roughly 70% of the seating remained open with tables clean and ready to go.
Will definitely be looking for a different steakhouse next time

Craving a steak and a good glass of wine, I decided to try 5D Steakhouse one night in Port O’Connor. I was by myself so I sat at the bar. I was immediately greeted by a friendly bartender and she remained attentive for the duration of my meal. The Grigio was really good. The steak came out over-cooked. The bartender immediately agreed. She found a smaller plate so I could keep the baked potato and eat that while a new filet was cooked. I appreciated that since I was hungry. The new steak came out perfect and was delicious. I enjoyed sitting at the bar. So much space, plenty of seating. They had two large TVs displayed where I was able to watch the Astros baseball game. Unfortunately I left my debit card behind and didn’t realize it until I arrived back to my home town. Via Facebook messaging and email, I was able to communicate with corporate and the manager to inquire if it was there. They found it the next day and graciously mailed it back to me. That is hospitality!! I’m very grateful to them. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful place online reviews looked great and we were looking forward to enjoying a great night with good food. We were there 2 1/2 hours. Our waitress had 4 table. Took almost 45 minutes to get my margarita. When I finally got it was watered down. Out food came out 2 hrs later cold. We let our server know and she didn’t even offer to reheat it or anything. We were very hungry and took a few bites… $15 discount because we took no more than 2 bites. Will not be coming back. Very disappointed

Always great food! Fun atmosphere and lots of space, indoor and out. I perform here semi regularly with a band and they’re on their game every time. Instead of visiting as a customer, I’m there for about 8 hours every time I go and you can see the employees running around constantly to make guests happy. That’s usually a sign of good management, which means the quality of everything is higher; service, food, beverages, cleanliness. Anyway, that’s my less ordinary take on. 5D. Give them a shot, you’ll be happy you did!
