Delicious and affordable. We had the catfish dinner, catfish combo and 7-up cake and a couple taster ribs. First off, the beans and rice are hands down the best I’ve ever had. So flavorful. Catfish was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. But the sauce is the star of the show, so much flavor! Ribs are tender and his bbq sauce was delicious.
The place is cool, it shares a kitchen with a few other places, so you get a nice multi-cultural vibe. Everyone was nice. Parking was fairly decent too. Can’t wait to try their Sunday menu items gumbo and (more) ribs.

Found this place through TikTok so wanted to give it a try… They said they open at 4:30pm, but when we got there they said the cook was running late and that they would be there at 5pm. That wasn’t too much of a big deal, so we waited. The lady at the front was pleasant but our food wasn’t ready til close to 6pm! We ordered: 1 catfish poboy, 1 shrimp poboy, salmon croquets, and some sides (Mac n cheese, greens and potato salad). When we finally got our food we didn’t even get a sorry for the long wait… As far as the food, my shrimp poboy still had peel from the shrimp and my shrimp tasted like it was super overcooked and deep fried twice (like it has been sitting long and fried again, if that makes sense). The potato salad and greens had no flavor, and the Mac and cheese was super watery with no flavor. Super disappointed I spent a lot of money and didn’t even finish any of the food…
