This was an amazing place. We will definitely be back, I cannot stop thinking about those ribs. Crystal was our server and she was phenomenal, she brought our babies food out before ours so we could cool it down and feed her, she brought her a coloring page and crayons too. We ordered an appetizer of the fried pickles and they were the best fried pickles I have ever had, super crispy, super flavorful, the ranch made it 10x better. My fiance got the monster burger and it was massive, he loved it so much he finished it and had a tummy ache after, no fault to the restaurant of course. I ordered the two meats and two sides platter I got brisket and ribs with tots and cole slaw. Everything was super good, the brisket was a little dry but with some of their spicy vinegar sauce it made it absolutely perfect, I think they make their coleslaw with pickles though so don’t order if you don’t like that. My daughter got Mac n cheese and fries she loved it, it’s not that gross boxed stuff that most restaurants sell either.

I love this place. Great food & friendly staff. Food prepared in a timely fashion and always delicious. The servers Makenzie, Summer and Crystal are very thorough and a pleasure to interact with. You must try the Cuban sandwich. Today, though, I had ribs with onion rings. Outstanding !

I ordered a medium-rare bacon cheeseburger. I received a well-done bacon cheeseburger. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she reacted as if I had made an error. The manager then informed me that, due to my having taken a bite of the food, no discount would be offered. Wow poor customer service will never return to the establishment!

Burger was almost completely raw. Was very excited to have some good food because I had not been there since the new ownership. Very disappointed. Service was excellent though and the bartender took the meal off the ticket completely. Hopefully I don’t get sick . I may be back, but it will be for drinks and maybe some cheese fries. Hopefully the kitchen will be better by then…

Nice sized portions, definitely get your money’s worth. Great draft beer selection. Definitely get the mustard based sauce. The hot vinegar is good as well. Mac and cheese was basic, but nice and creamy. Highly recommend the baked beans.

I know times are hard, but what sort of BBQ restaurant can’t select or cook ribs properly?
Tough. Fatty. Flavorless – they didn’t seem like they had been smoked or barbecued; More like they’d been baked. I only tolerated one bite, inspected the rest and gave up.
The pulled pork was dry, but do-able with enough sauce.
Baked Beans – Yum.
Okra – Good
Hush Puppies – Good Enough.
But the Mac and Cheese and the collard greens were so VERY disappointing. They seemed to be the bland, pre-packaged, store bought sort which is honestly quite sad and such a missed opportunity to show off as a BBQ restaurant. Like the BBQ itself, sides are so important and should all be made with pride and have signature qualities.
Again, I feel like a good BBQ restaurant would insist on mastering homemade sides as well as offering high quality, slow-smoked smoked meats. But, sadly for me, this was definitely NOT that place.
I feel so cheated.
I can’t recommend at this time.
But, maybe after they make some changes.
