520 Dessert Spot is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at! Their tea is full of fresh fruit and always tastes great. The food is great, including the desserts as well. The staff is always really sweet and they even allowed my girlfriend and I to come in even though they were closing when we got there. The food and drinks are affordable too, which is amazing. It’s honestly a crime to have a spot this amazing be just down the street from me!

Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude, and the service was poor. The milk tea tasted artificial, made mostly with powder and flavoring instead of real ingredients. The price is just average, but paying over $7 for this kind of drink feels wasteful.
Edited:
I completely understand that not having an Chinese menu is fine, that’s not an issue at all. I only brought it up to start a friendly conversation, not to criticize your choice of menu language. I mentioned it because I noticed you had “鸡蛋仔” written when we entered the store.
What really bothered me was that your staff actually suggested we go to Taichi, another restaurant, during our conversation. Is that really an appropriate or polite way to respond to customers?
Also, just because I didn’t place the order myself doesn’t mean I didn’t get to try what my friend ordered. If needed, I can even ask my friend to share their review as well.
From what I saw, the ingredients used, including unbranded jellies and powders, don’t justify the price. Paying over $7 for this kind of drink honestly feels wasteful. And your insincere “apology” only further shows the rude service I experienced.
Thank you.
Edit:
Nothing more to say. Here’s the receipt, it proves who the real liar is.

Love this store! They are the only store use real tea for the drink and real eggs for the egg waffles. They don’t use some types of mix kit or tea powder for their products. You can taste the difference! Their egg tarts are amazing.

It’s a small shop run by two people. The bubble tea is great as I remembered (when they were at a different location) I asked for a bubble tea with no ice and no sugar and it was fantastic! They have waffles, takoyaki, several Asian snacks, and shaved ice. I can’t wait to go back and try them all.

What a cute little place!!! we kept driving by this place for the last year and I finally remembered that we had to try it .. it was such a cute little experience. I wish there was more people in there. You definitely must try!! They don’t have a lot in there case but I think that’s because they don’t get a lot of traffic but boy was it pretty good also, the price was not bad at all it was $15 and all for both of these items!!!

Considering this place was open for several more hours, I thought they’d have more items in their display case. It was empty, the walls were empty and the cashier was looking to get rid of us so she could continue standing there doing nothing. Their bags of international Lays chips go for $4. I’d rather go to Taichi. The people there are nice and friendly, they have a variety of food and drink options. Don’t waste time coming to this part of town for a disappointing experience.

We ordered delivery through Door Dash so my review is strictly on the food.
I never write reviews but I rely on them when seeing if I want to try a new place. We recently ordered 4 different types of dessert from here and was so incredibly disappointed.
2 out of the 4 were inedible. The pictures did not match what we got, they tasted old and stale and the texture was, awful. The cannoli cake was rubbery instead of light and fluffy like the picture made it seem. The Oreo cake was brown instead of white and also rubbery, but not as bad as the cannoli cake.
The mango mousse cake was honestly the best and had the best flavor. The crepe cake was good but had zero orange flavor.
For a place that has the word dessert in the name, we truly expected way more than what we got.

This was hands down the best bubble tea I’ve had! So many choices that it took me 5 minutes to decide. My mom and son also loves theirs. I addition we grabbed some chips, a canned tea and an order of takoyaki. I wish I didn’t live 6 hours away!! We also looked up the meaning of 520 and it’s used as an expression of love, the crossed fingers represent a heart! Owners were so friendly and polite. Will definitely return if I’m in the area!!

Love, love, love this boba shop. The owners are super nice, the tea is freshly brewed not a powder, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend you check them out.
