We got takeout tonight for our first time here and the food is impressive. The Cesar salad’s croutons reminded me immediately of fair food, which is pretty dreamy on a salad! The lobster mac and cheese is absolutely wonderful and put me in a food coma, enough for 3 people! The warm bread and whipped butter were fantastic.

517 on Main is sure to be a new staple for nights out! I ordered the 517 burger which was delicious and had the passionfruit margarita. You can tell all the ingredients are high quality. The decor is warm, and I love that some of the historical charm of Hudson was brought back in. I’ll definitely be back soon!

We had an amazing dinner! We tried several appetizers, including the Wisconsin favorite of bacon wrapped water chestnuts. We all tried different dinners and everything was perfectly seasoned and beautifully plated. The atmosphere, with the exposed stone walls, is charming and warm. Our waitress was lovely and incredibly nice. The dessert and drinks are worth saving some room for. We tried three desserts and wished we had room for me. This is a must try!

My husband and I went here on a date night and it was amazing! I loved that they were not crowded and the atmosphere was very chill and laid back. Their chips and queso were delicious and I had the 517 Burger and fries (delicious!) and the sauce that came with it was perfect! Service was great as well! We will be going back!

My daughter and I went on a Friday night and were able to get seated right away. She had the filet and I had the ribeye and both were excellent. I mean, really good. I’ve had them both in other places in town and I thought these were probably the best I’ve had. And that’s saying something. Service was a little slow but not terrible. Cheese curds were definitely not very good but, they took them off the bill and, as I said, the steaks more than made up for them. Highly recommend. By the way, I’ve had their specialty burgers a couple times in the past and they are extremely tasty as well. Don’t let the ingredients scare you away. They work!

Immediately after being seated my wife was telling me the floor was very greasy and slippery. One look at the table, and it looked cleared off, but it was clearly greasy. Took a while to get waited on, but they were busy on Fathers Day and staff was short. We were also there for over an hour before our food came. As mentioned before, this is not a real supper club. Had it been, an hour for your food is not that bad. Relish tray was 2 olives, 2 cheese curds, and a tiny gherkin. The steak was so tough I couldn’t chew through it, so I brought it home for my dog. I had ordered mushrooms with the steak to, and I got 5 mushroom slices. Not even while mushrooms. To be fair, all the food was tasty! The service is the reason I only gave 2 stars.

We were excited to hear about a new “Supper Club” downtown! So off we went to check it out.
Downtown Hudson has numerous excellent restaurants. Competition is fierce and you best have it together to complete..
We were seated and it went downhill immediately. We were not greeted for at least 10 minutes and thought about walking out! It was not busy and we saw plenty of staff. No one to even pour water. Once we finally had a server stop by we finally got something to drink, and since we were already there for so long, we were ready to order.
The relish tray showed up after the salad which consisted of 3 olives, 3 cheese curds and 1 small pickle. When the bread came again, 3 pieces. Odd number for 2 people. Supper club it is not.
My dining partner requested no bell peppers since he is allergic and lo and behold the dish came swimming in them! We pointed it out to the server and waited for a new order to be made.
Re-fills for water had to be requested if you saw your server. Used plates etc not cleared before food came.
We again waited about 15 minutes for server
to arrive with refills, and still sat with a table full of empty plates. and had to request tab. Honestly, we felt invisible.
We heard a manager chatting with a table but not once helping staff or checking in with other patrons. Staff would not help each other and didn’t even seem to be happy to even be there!
The food was very good. The server was very sweet. Other servers could not even muster up a smile.Service was horrible.
Because the food was good is the only reason I gave 2 stars.
Again, the competition is fierce downtown, if management doesn’t step up they will not survive.

Had brunch here on Mother’s Day with my sisters & our families. Everything was wonderful & the service was great. Our server was excellent. 3 of us had the 517 burger & it was great! The kids loved their pancakes with whipped cream.

I have been coming to Hudson for years and this was the best dining experience I have had here. The lobster Mac n’ cheese is absolutely delightful! The sauce is amazing. All of the entrees our party ordered were on point. Would recommend for sure.
