The outdoor seating was heated and protected overhead from elements. The table style was awkward for sitting next to my husband, but they were open to moving people around if you don’t like the table. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. I was disappointed that the indoor seating was not open. I really love the vibe inside and hope that indoor seating will return soon. We mostly had the vegetarian options – peanut noodle bowl (delicious flavor, tangy lime, scrumptious), grilled veggie plate (the mushrooms were so good!), and Dragon Fries (delicious, spicy, and fish flakes are Bonita tuna). The drinks are always excellent, strong, and unique. My husband enjoyed the Cinder and Smoke (he enjoys spicy and smoke), and I had the Quarter After Five (it was a beautiful mix of orange and bourbon). Great place for a date night. I don’t recommend taking kids here, the menu is designed for a mature palate.

Wonderful bar and great Asian appetizers such as their version of Lumpia, and their version of Korean fried chicken. Their Korean fried chicken was So Crispy and Crunchy! It was soooo yummy!
They have great drinks too! I recommend the “Ain’t life Grand” it was a nice smokey whiskey drink. We sat on the patio which had heat lamps. Their patio is dog friendly. They have restrooms. Staff incredibly friendly.

Great atmosphere, nice people, fun music. Great food, great drinks. High on the price side, but a great place to go once in a while with friends! Nice restaurant downstairs and a really cool Lounge upstairs. Couches and comfy seats and a really nice outdoor area.

They are really fun. They bring you your check in an old book from the 70s. You always get a different book.

Ordered Korean wings, Thai chicken with steam rice and peanut noodles. All three dishes were not pleasing at all. Even our classic margaritas was a fail. Don’t let the pics fool you. Does not taste as good as it looks.

I would not go back to this place. While our waitress was pleasant there seemed to be a huge miscommunication with the kitchen but before I get to that let me say the outdoor area is pleasant and they are following covid protocols strictly even after CDC easing restrictions so you can take that as you’d like. We went there because the menu says they offer “rotating ramen” we showed up after 5pm, we ordered drinks then attempted to place our order for ramen we were informed the kitchen didn’t have the ramen ready and it would be another at least 50min. After a few back and forth of communication between the kitchen and our waitress she said they may be able to do it sooner or maybe not and it ended up being tofu and prawns ramen…we ended up ordering fries and drinks and leaving. Just not good to advertise something that won’t be ready when customers arrive. Just bad bussiness practice so I wouldn’t go back or recommend wasting time on visiting.

This place seems very trendy and hipster. The drinks are very good. The menu includes truffle fries and pork belly along with a burger. It is nice and not typical beach or bar food.

This is where I go when I want a good cocktail made well. If you get a good bartender they’ll be able to make you most cocktails, even off menu. One of my favorite drinks is the Negroni, they’ve got a menu with various twists on it but they make the classic well here. Their drinks are pricey, but made well.
I’ve never ordered food here, so I can’t speak on it. But they definitely do have food, and I’ve heard it’s quality.
The staff is awesome here also, fun group of people. I once showed up kinda early in the day, sat at the downstairs bar, and ordered a drink next to some other people. Quickly I realized that I had sat down with a bunch of employees before their shift, and they were a lot of fun.
Shout-out to Charlotte and Camille, it’s always a pleasure to see them when they’re working.

Hands down one of my favorites places in Santa Cruz. Food is always fantastic and flavorful, I highly recommend the Korean Fried Chicken and Dragon Fries. The Kiwi Sesame Salad and Wasabi Deviled eggs were also good. Cocktails are always innovative and delicious- the Jinx Monsoon is one of my favorites, the Wallflower is also quite good. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the Cocktail of the Moment. Love the balcony seating, too.

This was one of the few places where you could get high and food and quality craft cocktails in the area. We went here frequently before COVID. On Halloween we decided to do a drive by and check out their outdoor seating. Every table was full but their tables were far enough apart that we thought we would give it a try.
We are so glad that we did! We only had one person approach us the entire time in that was just our server. People were not wandering around and if they were up they had their masks on. It was so great to have our 1st craft cocktail since February! They even do QR Codes For the food and drink menu so that you are not touching any public menus! The menus are limited which I am hoping will change. They did have some great specials. Unfortunately the fried chicken that we got was burnt. We did mention it to the server but we were so hungry and so happy to be there we did not want to wait for a fresh plate.
Given the circumstances of them trying to do business we really feel like they were a comfortable place to eat.
