Meh. We were waiting for a show to start at Tampa Theatre and looking for some nicer cocktails. Showed up right after happy hour so place had cleared out. Bartender was more focused on 20 something year old finance bros eating SubWay at the bar then trying to figure out how to help us. Finally got drink order put in for two nice rum old fashions and spent $40 on drinks plus tip. Music (DJ vibe minus the live music) was super loud even though happy hour had cleared out and the place was dead. Just didn’t fit the vibe.
Probably won’t be back unless we’re in the area but wouldn’t make a special trip for it.

511 Franklin is my new go-to spot for great cocktails and an even better vibe. I had been here a few times before over the last few years & was so unimpressed with the kindness of the staff & poor service. I stopped visiting for about 6 months and decided to give it another try yesterday before attending an event in the area. I was pleasantly impressed by the difference.
A huge shout-out to Leah and Marlee, the bartenders who made our evening special and changed my mind about 511 Franklin. They were friendly, attentive, and clearly know their craft. Their recommendations were on point, and they kept the atmosphere fun and welcoming the entire time. I will definitely be returning with more friends next week.

Love this bar! Amazing bourbon selection and such well crafted cocktails! The happy hour specials are awesome and the atmosphere is welcoming yet sophisticated. The bartenders are friendly and the decor is classy. Great place to watch a football game at the bar or celebrate a special event with friends. The vibe is so fun and I look forward to coming back here again really soon!

My man and I was visiting Florida and wanted to experience the nightlife. We stumbled on Franklin 511. We where going to another night club and it was 18 and older. I said no I am not paying $50 to party with kids. We walked the area and found Franklin 511. It was 23 and older so I was okay with that. Security checked our IDs and we walked in. I am so glad we did. As we entered they were playing Sexxy Red and Drake. I was like okay because im from STL. The DJ was also from STL. He playing all types of music which I enjoyed. The place was small and packed but the atmosphere was good. Everyone was having a good Ole time. No fights just peer fun. The margaritas was on point. I love a good margarita. I didn’t get any food so I cannot comment on it. We did not stay that long because we are old(hahah). We left around 1 am. Im glad we stumbled upon Franklin 511. My man had a great time for his birthday. I haven’t seen him dance that much before. If you are visiting Tampa and in your late thirties and still like to party go to Franklin. We went on a Saturday night. Thank you Franklin.

Tampa Book and Sip Club hosted our monthly book club here and it was fantastic!! The cocktails were creative and delicious, and the vibe was cozy yet elevate. Exactly what we wanted for a fun, Hollywood themed night. The vibe was perfect!!!

We stopped in after my birthday dinner at Malios a few blocks away and this place did not disappoint! The music and the vibe was on point! It was busy for a Wednesday night and it was great!! Will definitely be back to have another drink!
