I stopped into Sycamore 51 in Weldon thinking I’d just grab a quick bite… next thing I know, I’m contemplating whether I should legally change my last name to “Catfish” out of respect. The fried catfish here is so good I’m pretty sure it qualifies as a spiritual experience. I took one bite and heard bald eagles singing in the distance.
And the wings? Listen… I don’t know what kind of sorcery they’re working with back there, but these wings could end family feuds, broker peace treaties, and probably fix my lower back pain. I ordered one plate and immediately considered ordering three more just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.
If you leave Sycamore 51 hungry, that’s on you. If you leave unhappy, check your pulse. Highly recommend
