Seems family- owned and run & you can feel the care and intention in everything they do. The service honestly rivals a five-star restaurant—warm, attentive, and unforgettable. The whole family was involved in the dining experience and it was just so lovely.
The food? Absolutely incredible. We had the Daal Makhani & the chicken kabob. Daal is a lentil dish that was buttery, creamy, and unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Served with the best basmati rice I’ve ever had. The owner even shared rice cooking tips, which just shows how genuine and welcoming they are.
If you’re anywhere near Bardwell, do yourself a favor and stop here. Authentic, delicious, and one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The mint-cliantro chutney served with the samosas was very fresh and delicious! The Kadai Paneer is a new favorite for me, I had never tried it before. The Chicken Tikka Masala was classic and tasty. (I didn’t try the lamb dish but my spouse enjoyed it.) We will definitely be back!
Of note, the spice level was on the mild side. When we go back, I am going to ask if we can get things spicier.
Some of the standout dishes for my family are the butter chicken, saag paneer, aloo tikki, chicken 65, and the chicken tikka pizza. All of their naans are delicious, light, and fluffy, I prefer the garlic naan and my husband loves the cheese version they recently added. For dessert the gulab jamun and carrot pudding are both amazing and I have a hard time picking a favorite.
If you have never tried Indian food this is the perfect place to try something new and they also have American dishes as well. Definitely give them a try!
They will only give you an abridged menu, which doesn’t show Indian food at all, until you mention you are there for the Indian food specifically.
The food was good but it is a shame that they don’t show the full menu all the time. If I hadn’t looked up their menu I wouldn’t have had the slightest clue they served more than just stuff like burgers.
