Stopped in after a stop at Bellview Winery down the street. What a throwback! Not too many of these old style diners left. Felt like we walked back into the 50’s. Food was excellent. Service was good too. Small place but a big heart. We drive down to Bellview a few times a year and now we have a stop to eat afterwards. Hoping to catch the BBQ pit open next time!

Pros: if you want to have a true small business/ South Jersey diner experience, this is where you go. Love it. Small , cozy, 50’s diner through and through. Greeted by adorable little girl helping her mom out and while sitting there you see your typical old guy ” Bob” everyone knows there. Eggs are done perfectly, no browning on them. The waffle is done just right with that home cooked taste. Seem to very fair on price compared to most diners. Portions are right on. Also cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen in a restaurant. Clean tables and retro everything. Quick on the coffee refills. Family friendly.

Cons: small enough to hear everyone’s conversation, which could be nice actually, if you’re that social. They do have a $10 limit on cards , but you get there easy with just 2 people. Not ideal for large parties, due to size.

All in all , I would highly recommend this place. I’m going back as often as I can. Already made it a favorite on Google . FYI, they are not near the Wawa on 54 , they are closer to the high school. Google has them as ,50’s diner and not thier actual name Angie’s diner.

I’m Beef and this was where I was.

Stopped her after visiting the Funny farm rescue a few miles down the road …..very nice diner…..we sat outside, in a screened enclosure….it was a nice autumn day and it was just us….
She had the chicken fingers, which were amazing, and she went with the french fries (which she thought they were crinkle cut based off the menu, but they were not, so she said she should have opted out with the tater tots…)
I had the crab cake, which was humongous, but very delicious, we’ll stop here again

We’ve known the man who now runs the 50’s Diner for many years. Great guy! When we heard he was there, we couldn’t drop in fast enough! Just like seeing family! I think if he’ll do great things with the place if he has the chance!

I went for breakfast, the service was good and the staff was friendly.. The food presentation was picture worthy, the food looked tasty, and was good. Also it came out quickly from the kitchen , and it was just as I ordered it. The old school Diner atmosphere was cool, and hard to find theses days. The men’s bathroom was clean, and i wiill go back again..

$6.70 for an egg & cheese sandwich, with some potatoes. But I didn’t order potatoes, only a sandwich. The bread sucked. I can’t believe I spent 7 bucks on this. Pretty disappointed because I pass it on the way to work every day and would have loved to stop for a breakfast sandwich often. Oh well.

This diner is under newer ownership and they are fantastic. My friend and I stopped there a couple of weeks ago after we noticed it was open again.
From the moment we walked through the door we were treated incredibly well. Our waitress deserves 5 stars for the service she provided. The food was yummy and cooked home style. I had eggs, sausage and home fries. The potatoes were wonderful.
My friend and I will be eating there again. We drive passed it when I’m going to the dentist. It’s easy to see from the road. I sincerely recommend this restaurant.

Kelly is a great cook. Good coffee. Great food. Nice clean atmosphere. Cream chip beef is made perfectly. The only place I know that serves fried mash potatoes & they also have Steak, bacon, egg and cheese subs.
