503Hibachi has Fantastic service and food. I was warmly greeted by one of the owners, and was given excellent recommendations. He even went so far to give me more vegetables in lieu of rice for my entree, and cooked my steak perfectly to order. They have seating available for patrons, and were fast with their service. Portions were generous, and the food was fresh and prepared with care. I got the NY Steak & Shrimps and it was absolutely wonderful. I strongly recommend this stop!
Edit: I was so impressed with the NY Steak and Shrimps I couldn’t resist ordering the Scallops since they were available. Again: perfectly cooked, perfectly fresh, full respect given to the ingredients. Both entrees came with (awesome) dipping sauces, and none of the food needed it.

Very yummy shrimp and scallops meal, $28. The size of scallop seems to vary depending on the season based on other reviews pictures. Today was smaller than some other images. Still a great meal considering juicy and crunchy vegetables on the side.

We ordered steak and scallops combo, and it was cooked really well! My wife and I shared one order since the serving was really generous. The chef was also kind enough to grant our request of cooking our steaks in 2 different doneness for a single order.
The fried rice was flavorful, the veggies had just the right amount of char, and everything tasted really fresh.
Overall, the experience was great! If you live in or are visiting Portland, and you’re craving hibachi, this is the place!! A big serving of your fave combos for less than $20 is a steal.

Made the 30 min trip to try this food cart out today and I am glad I did. I got the steak and scallop with upgraded chicken fried rice and it was 10/10. You could say the price is kind of spendy but the freshness of the food and flavor is worth it. The portion is enough for 2 people to share. The sauces are delicious. Only thing that would have put it over the top would be a spicy sauce as well. Will be back again!!

Food made to order. Steak was tender and seafood tasted great not over cooked. The chicken fried rice was really good. All sauces are home made. Just opened another location in Tigard.

Was in town on a business trip. The best hibachi I’ve had. This is a place I’d make sure id stop at every time I’m here. Teriyaki beef&Shrimp plate with fried rice and Yakisoba. Yakisoba was on point Been to Japan before and have had Yakisoba since being back and this is the closest one.

I have been so disappointed with nearly all takeout and most dine-in restaurants as of late. The quality has gone down and the prices have gone up, but not this place!
503 Hibachi is hands down one of the best places in the area. The service was great and the dude was very friendly and helpful. Even with the price being a little steep, the portions and quality are definitely worth it. The meat was juicy, the veggies were fresh and crisp, the rice wasn’t starchy and super sticky, and the sauces were top notch. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

The double protein can feed two people, and is absolutely delicious! Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the steak was especially great. Would highly recommend!

Definitely the ratings speak for themselves. 11/10 the sauces go corresponding to the type of meat and flavor you want to enhance it with. Teriyaki with the beef and rice, and the ginger with the shrimp and scallops would be the way to go IMO. Would make this place a bucket list item if you like and enjoy hibachi style cuisine.

Tried this place for the first time today. I will say that the food portion size as well as taste was great, even though it’s a little bit more expensive than I would I would want since you’re basically paying the price of a sit down restaurant it can be hard to swallow the pricing at a food cart being the same. However again the portion size was more than I could actually finish. I ended up eating probably only half of what I ordered meaning I got two meals out of that so at that point it probably is worth it. Location is great. It’s centrally located right off of 185th and TV highway. Talked away from the main street of the traffic. There’s not a lot of parking and it’s very strange because there’s only a select number of food cards here and somehow they all have their own seating area. So while that’s a bonus, it’s a little bit more strange to see considering most food cart locations have a centralized seating place where all the food carts share. But each of these food carts had their own space which was unique and probably helpful so that people can eat.
I will probably return here in the future, although not often. Since again, it is a bit spendy, but if you’re craving some authentic Asian food, this might be a place to try. It was worth it for me.
