The food was good, drink was okay, but the service could have been better. I don’t even know our servers name. She wasn’t super personable , seemed too busy or disinterested, and I felt like we waited a long time for the check.having said that, everything came out very quickly. I’m happy to see something like this come to Battle Creek though .

This has become our favorite place in Battle Creek. The atmosphere has a Chicago feel. And it’s even further enhanced with the drinks and service if Amara is working…thank you and highly recommended!!

Horrendous service. Dive bars have better service and cost a quarter of the price.
Great atmosphere but highly disappointed with my experience.

Waited over 30 minutes just to get a drink and there were only 2 other tables with people. These two other tables also came in after we were seated and still got service first.
After we finally got our check, we waited another 30 minutes and I ended up having to take my bill to the bar where the manager was but the manager wouldn’t help me and instead was just talking on his phone about his planned vacation to Vegas.

This place has so much potential and it’s great for Battle Creek but it has unfortunately lost a customer.

Honestly the worst service I have ever experienced. Sadly, I am not over exaggerating

Really enjoyed getting to experience some of Battle Creek’s latest growth! Absolutely loved the baked Brie and our server, Jason! He was attentive, kind, and knew the menu well. Great service and food! A little hard to hear between the background music and people enjoying themselves, but otherwise a great experience.

I will start with this is what Battle Creek needs. It’s great for going out and enjoying the simple things. I went for the opening and even a couple weeks later and they are improving everytime. It can get packed at times so it can be a gamble if you are going to get a seat. But no worries, head back downstairs and you can find a nice lounge bar and The Alloy also including a bar with great eats!! The staff are great people and very friendly.

I have been to many upscale restaurants and this is one of the best I don’t often leave reviews but for this I had to. It’s very affordable and should be a 5 star restaurant. They have the most juicy tenderloin I’ve ever had. My waiter Tim, and bartender Windi were amazing but most of all the chef John. I have never found myself thanking a chef till now. Will come back with high hopes

The food was really good we had the chacuterie and beef tenderloin. The service with Windy was great and she makes really amazing, unique drinks!! The bar has a classy, elegant but warm feeling and the views are really nice. Great addition to Battlr Creek!

My husband and I have enjoyed the Beacon several times since their opening. We had relatives from out of state here last week and couldn’t wait to show the restaurant off. We were totally shocked when we waited for over 20 minutes for the server to greet us and then another 20 minutes for drinks to be served. We decided not to order food as who knows how long that wait would be. The server was very kind and I don’t think it was her fault. In the past there was a bartender that worked with the server, this bartender stood behind the bar talking to what looked like to be his friends. What a let down.
