I discovered this restaurant no longer after moving to the area. And let me tell you, hands down they serve the BEST burgers in town! I would like to try other burgers, but they have me hooked on the Fugazza Burger. I will certainly bring my out of town friends here. They also offer bar service and a patio. This restaurant is 100 times better than any burger in Albuquerque.

We visited just before 6:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. We were given the option of sitting on the patio or indoors. We chose indoors. The staff was great and super accommodating for our 2 year old. Both the host and our server were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, I wish I remembered their names. The food was awesome! I ordered the Burger of the month, which was the KGB (the K stands for kale), my partner ordered the Brunch Burger which came with a perfectly fried egg on top. We both agreed they were some of the best burgers we’d had in a very long time. But the Orange Philo cake is to die for! I will definitely be going back for that! I also had an amazing prickly pear lemonade. They had several other flavors that I can’t wait to try. Super pleasantly surprised by this place! They definitely embodied “5 Star” service in my book!

Husband got the bison burger and thoroughly enjoyed himself. Better flavor than Fuddruckers.
I got the green Chile cheeseburger. I loved how juicy it was and the cheese melted on top of the Chile and beef. I would have liked the Chile to be a little spicier, but I’m a spice nut.
Kiddo got the kids cheeseburger and almost cleared his plate. Also, PLEASE start adding the side veggies to the kids plates! Or at least give it as an option. My kiddo loves lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. We had to share ours with him.
The green Chile strips were super yummy Green Chile ranch is sooo good!
My only advice is to get better fries. The fries are just okay and the same as everywhere else.

I honestly do not leave bad reviews often but the name honestly does not reflect the food or the experience of this restaurant. We waiting 25 minutes before seeing our waiter, our appetizer was brought out after we already finished eating the entrees and were ready to leave. The quality of the meat is good, its just the service and overall dining experience was terrible.

Growing up in NE Albuquerque, 5 Star Burger used to be my favorite burger spot. And once I turned 21, obviously turned into a great spot for happy hour drinks. Finally coming back and visiting Albuquerque after several years, I was glad to see this spot still busy during happy hour. I could be wrong but the burgers do seem a bit smaller than I remember and not as amazing. It’s still a solid burger but I can’t really complain about their happy hour pricing!

This burger joint seems to have a better reputation than actual burgers. They aren’t bad, but also aren’t exceptional.
I had the build-your-own burger option with Gorgonzola cheese and sautéed mushrooms. The build-your-own burgers do not come with sauces or have suggested sauces to add; they come dry. They also do not come with a side; those are sold separately.
The service was fine, the burger fine, the atmosphere fine. It was all just… fine. And I’ll instantly forget about it.

Worst place I’ve ever been!!! The manager is such a weirdo, The other manager is the most rude person I’ve ever met in my life! I go to a lot of places and this is ny far the worst. Save your time and energy. These people DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS! There’s a reason its empty. And for $15 for s singular burger that doesn’t even include fries- you’d think that the restrooms wouldn’t look like a homeless shelter in New York. Absolutely disgusting. I didn’t even want to be in there. I felt like I was going to get pricked with a used needle but then remembered what part of town I was on and got confused because I thought this was the nice part of town but you definitely couldn’t tell by the restroom.

$25 for this. How am I paying $25 for ONE PERSON to eat one burger and one side of fries?? Absolutely INSANE. Wasn’t even worth $10.
EDIT FOR RESPONSE: Almost all of your burgers are $13-$15 and I was charged $6 for a handful of fries. Look at your menu and try again. Also, we did know the prices on the menu, duh. That’s why only the lady ate and I chose to eat elsewhere on the way home. Which was a delicious 1/3 lb green chile cheeseburger for under $9. Just because you’re charging that price doesn’t make it ok. The ticket is in the picture. There is zero justification for a $25 burger and fries.
