We decided to try 5 Iron Grill for date night, so there was just two of us.
Overall experience was just okay.
I ordered the salmon, which was described as 8 oz Atlantic salmon, seasoned and grilled. The menu said it would be served with “choice of side” and “choice of vegetable. Upon ordering I was told there are no choices, it is just a side salad and mashed potatoes. I probably should have switched to something else but I hoped the salmon would be good and I am okay with mashed potatoes.
The salmon was pan fried and not seasoned at all, and just could have been better. It was served cut as if someone was checking for doneness. The potatoes (my husband also had potatoes with his chicken fried chicken) were not fresh mashed potatoes, but reheated mashed potatoes.
The ranch for the side salad was good!
While the waitress was very polite, she was also stressed/seemed rushed as she was the only waitress/server and there also appeared to be just one person in the kitchen, where she was also helping.
I hoped for better, and I’ve had mostly good experiences in the past at the other restaurants with these owners, so in the future I’d maybe try again but I wonder if they should just stick to the lunch menu on weeknights or something for quality.
Just disappointed in the description vs. execution of menu items and quality overall.

Ridiculous service. Waited 45 minutes for two sandwiches and onion rings. Group of four came in half way of my wait. These folks were served their burgers and finished eating before I got my meal. Then my onion rings were ice cold. Asked for a refund. The guy lied to me and said he refunded the price for the rings that I returned. He said they were swamped earlier. Boooo hoooo, which is why my meal took so long. Worst service I’ve ever had.

Philly cheese steak is great!! Huge peppers and onions. Chicken tender are just the right thickness and crunchy-ness.

Visited on 07/05. Food was great and service was even better. We had the Chile verde burrito, breakfast sandwich and avocado toast. Nick was our guy and made the visit fantastic. Also the young gal working was very nice.
