The food was great and the prices are reasonable. However, service was poor! The server had two tables and we ate before the 5pm crowd, and she refused to bring items back in a timely manner. At one point she took a seat behind the host desk, after we asked for a to go box.

Great local Mexican restaurant, the food is very good. I had the Diablo chicken and yes it is hotter than fire. The taquitos were a bit over cooked but good non the less. Chips and salsa were very good. The service was great our waitress was very good and the service was excellent. Highly recommended

I try to be as lenient with places as possible. But this is just disappointing. To start, the place looked pretty run down on both inside and outside. Then, it was very hot in there, it’s like the ac was barely running. the service was bad, barely saw our waitress and the food was even worse. Not to mention, it was overpriced and my burrito was 80% tortilla, with almost nothing inside. All i can say is don’t come here please.

The house salsa is out standing. Some of the best salsa I’ve eaten. Pollo Loco is a delicious choice. The lunch portion is huge and very feeling. Our server was very nice attentive. I will definitely be back.

Food was delicious, nice size plates without breaking the bank! Combination plates were a hit! King chimichanga was huge! Not that big inside, but doable for a party of 6.

Went there and ordered lunch to go, it was a taco salad. The meat was ice cold as well as the refried beans in the bottom and the ladies in there were not very pleasant at all. There are to many Mexican restaurants in the area that you would think they would be at least try and compete.

Tried 5 de Mayo today with two friends. Service was adequate. We all ordered Fajitas, one steak and two chicken.
The Fajitas arrived in a timely fashion and looked great with lots of color.

I’ll start with the good. Our server was absolutely amazing. So wonderful. The food, however, was just bad. I ordered a vegetarian taco salad; received a bed of lettuce with hot, oily veggies on top with what seemed to be a squirt of liquid guacamole. The shell was cold and a bit soggy. My guy didn’t receive what he ordered- steak instead of beef. The steak was so tough and the fries were very dry. The salsa was okay. The decor could use some attention as well as a deep cleaning.
To management- there’s a lot of work to be done. As a vegetarian, please know that rice, vegetarian beans, lettuce, maybe some lightly sautéed veggies on top would be good. Beans and rice are the protein. It’s pretty important to us. Lettuce and oily veggies alone is not only insufficient but very unappetizing.
