Food was better than expected. I was shocked to find out that the boing was 100% imported from Mexico . Quiet and a friendly environment. Food was pretty good as well . I asked for sunny side eggs well done and they served them just the way I asked . Customer service was great as well . I would definitely recommend. . Reasonable prices as well .

I came here with a group of people and the hostess (who might have been the owner?) was super friendly! A bunch of us got tacos and it was so delicious. It was authentic, well-built, and tasty in every bit. We also got horchatas. Highly recommend if you are looking for great Mexican food near the area!

I recommend the chicken and beef soft tacos here with guacamole. They serve the tacos wrapped in two layers of pita here, so expect to get full really fast! The guacamole was unfortunately not as spicy as I thought it would be, and the salsa provided also didn’t have much of a kick to it. Our server was really helpful, helping us decide on which tacos to order and giving us a free bowl of pita chips to munch on while waiting for our tacos. There’s also a very strong AC unit in this small resto, so this is definitely somewhere you can escape from the heat on a scorching hot day!

Very small place but not difficult to locate.
The interiors of the hotel and the tables seemed cost and clean.
The lady who served us was very sweet.
There was no dessert available which was a bummer.
I ordered the Burrito with fried pork and chicken.
My friends ordered vegetarian dishes.
The veg Mexican sandwich according to my friend was one of the best he has had.
The chips and guac that they served complimentary we’re very good.
The burrito tortilla was not soft. It was harder than I expected.
The filling in it did not have distinctive flavors but it was better than I expected.
The portion size was filling for the price and the food was fresh and tasted decent.
Overall it’s a good place to go if you can’t find anything else and you won’t be disappointed by it.
I wish the frequency of them refiling our water was more and the tortilla could’ve been softer.
Nice place 3/5.

The folks at 5 De Mayo were very friendly, and the food was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. It’s located a bit off the beaten path, but it’s definitely worth the effort. Our server was attentive, and double-checked if we really wanted the picante/hot version of the salsa (it was indeed VERY hot.) The chips were obviously made in store, and were crispy and tasty. We ordered the Carne Asada tacos, and the Carnitas plate. Our food came out within ten minutes. The meat on both dishes had a crisp sear, yet remained very tender inside. The side order of beans was seasoned well, and the rice was perfect. I would come back here any time!

The pozole was delicious, the horchata is average and it could be richer but still nice. The waitress was very attentive and checked several times on me. It has a small and cozy outdoor dining area.

Happened upon this spot through a google search when visiting Corona Park and I’m so glad I did! Hearty food served quickly. The woman providing service was very polite and attentive. Chips and guac portion was very small but everything tasted great! The carne asada burrito was filling without being overly heavy and overloaded with ingredients the way lots of places do these days.

This place is worth finding parking! (Even if its 2-3 blocks) the food is delicious. I really enjoyed the chips & salsa becuz the salsa had a kick! I ordered a taco al pastor & a plate of flautas. The taco came before the plate which is great cuz i wanted to try the taco. Flautas were great! Especially cuz it came 4. Not 2, or 3. I would come back and circle 5times till the find parking to sit down and here.
