Perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken and best chicken and waffles in town. The staff is extremely friendly and everything taste like a home-cooked meal. However, there is a small section for inside seating so this is best taken as delivery for the parking outside. Also is extremely limited being located next to a main road. The food is by far worth it.

Not a great place to sit in and eat but the food is well worth the takeout experience!! Perfectly seasoned fried chicken with a tasty waffle. Their fries are double fried making them so good and crispy! They have Mac and cheese that is soooo cheesy it’s soooo good!!

Very disappointed I came in on a lunch break. Ordered 3 piece chicken and waffles and an ice tea $17 dollars and change . I decided to stay so I didn’t eat in the car. Waffle and chicken breast was delicious until I saw a brown bug crawling on the floor then on the wall where their soft drinks are. A roach!!! I immediately felt disgusted and turned off. I told the guy working the counter he said but it’s just by the drinks not the food . I said ok well I’m not going to eat my food anymore , it was delicious but at this point I’m turned off of what I’m seeing and I can no longer sit and enjoy the food nor take it out of the store with me . I asked for a refund since I just paid almost $20 for this meal and now have to go get food somewhere else. He called the boss to ask about the refund and they said they can’t do anything about it the door is left open and bugs come in . But this is a roach not just an outdoor bug. Basically they refused to refund my money and asked one of their workers to start cleaning the floors . I just wanted a refund which I think I am completely entitled too not to mention I barely ate any of the food . When their is one roach their are more and no thanks won’t go there again. I feel so itchy and gross now .

Came from brentwood. Food was fire bro. Craved chicken and waffles for a few days and a friend told me about this spot. Its between to motor shops so it was hard to find. But the food is a must. Fresh made.

This was genuinely suchh a good spot. The chicken and waffles were so good and paired SO well. The mac & cheese was incredibly creamy and well cooked. It tops nearly every spot I’ve tried around this area and oh my god I would totally get it again. If you’re considering this spot get it right now you will not be disappointed.

Since we happen to be down in Patchogue and wanted something quick we decided to stop for the greatest fried chicken in the entire world.
Is it the greatest fried chicken in the entire world probably not I’ve had some down south that’s been better but on Long Island I don’t think anything is better.
We stopped off at 5 Brothers Fried Chicken & Waffles
It is a very small place with an absolutely horrible parking lot but the people that work there and the chicken more than make up for it.
The waffles are fresh made every single time. They had plenty of chicken in the heater but ask me if I would mind waiting a couple of extra minutes for fresh fried. Clearly I did not mind at all.
We ordered a meal that contained 15 pieces of chicken four sides four waffles and a whole bunch of happiness.
While waiting I spoke to one of the four brothers that were present. I asked him where the fifth brother was and he explained that I am the fifth brother. He explained that the other one was home but they want all their customers to feel like family so I got to be the honorary fifth brother lol
We bought 15 pieces of chicken because we decided that we would have lunch at home but four of the pieces didn’t make it to the house. They’re chicken is cooked well juicy and delicious.
My family prefers dark meat so they let us switch it without any problem. If you’re ever in the area and you decide that you want great fried chicken check them out.
If anybody knows any other places that make fried chicken comparable or better tell me and I will check them out. I love fried chicken

When I bite into the chicken from 5 Brothers it tastes exactly like Kansas. I love NY but amazing fried chicken and classic comfort food sides are not easy to find. I’m working my way through all the sides on the menu. The chicken and waffles are amazing. The chicken has a little bit of sweetness in the batter which pairs well with the vinegar based hot sauce they serve on the side and with the waffles. Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and curly fries are all great. This time I ordered the sweet corn nuggets and they were delicious.

Large mixed with rice and salad can feed 3 people with a decent portion for each or 2 people with large portions. Flavor and service was great but the atmosphere was low energy. Get some music or TV going!!

Best waffles in town, hands down.Any time your in the area you have to spot inside 5 brothers Fried Chicken & Waffles.This place is becoming a long island landmark!The Fish is flawless, and the waffles are one of a kind. Waffles are a must order here. Everything on the menu is perfect, just not the mac and cheese. The chicken and waffles is definitely the crème de la crème of New York.
