I’ve found my new favorite Thai restaurant in the loop. Living in the medical center, I haven’t had many great options until now. Would have to drive to Eado, or Montrose. Eating the food brought back memories of my travels through Asia. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The mango sticky rice paired with coconut ice cream was a nice dessert to end the day. The interior really captures Southeast Asian vibes, with plants and a beautiful mix of wood and concrete elements.

The food was amazing! The Spicy Dumplings were delicious and had a good kick. I’m not a huge fan of tempura, but the Shrimp Tempura was pretty good and a nice size. The Crispy Rolls were my favorite! So flavorful and crunchy!! We split the Chicken Pad Thai and opted for medium heat and holy moly was it spicy! But VERY good!! The ONLY reason it gets 4 out of 5 is that it really smelled like a bathroom and had very little parking. 🙁 All in all though, we’ll definitely go back.

The two is for the waiter. He was very polite and attentive. Food in the other hand not so great. Got my spring rolls for an appetizer but a bit small when comparing with other restaurants. Plates were served separately. My wife’s came out first which was mango chicken drenched in sauce after she requested easy on the sauce and it took at least 15 minutes longer for mine to come out. It wasn’t even busy. Actually we were the only ones there after a couple just left. When my plate came out my chicken was dry and over cooked. I was hoping the dish would have been worth the wait. And I hate putting bad reviews but they have to work on the smell in the air. It was the first thing we encountered when we first walked in. Hopefully this will be helpful for them to work on. On a good note everyone was nice.

This is now my favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant! Parking is limited, after 6 pm you can park in the neighbouring Mister Carwash. Limited outdoor and indoor seating. The service is good and quick.
Food was really good. We go their Massaman curry – which was really good. Pad Kee Mow – the noodles were good but make sure you adjust the spice level. My favorite was the Spicy basil fried rice. Rad na was an interesting find here – it was differently nice.
The quantity is good. Excellent value for money. Definitely going back.

Passed by yesterday and thought we’d give it a try. The food was well-portioned, healthy and absolutely delicious.

We ordered a pad see ew and a pad kee mow, both for only 10 bucks. It came with a small salad and one spring roll. The spring roll was fried so well, leaving the outside crispy and not oily! The chicken within our noodle had a great charred smell that was perfectly matched with the spicy basil.

Would definitely recommend!

New 511 Thai location in Houston is definitely worth a visit. The parking is a bit confusing, but if you can find a spot, you’re in for a treat. Staff was friendly, food was well portioned and delicious. I got the Khao Soi and Thai tea. The curry was flavorful, and it came with lime, pickled vegetables, fried noodles, cilantro, and crispy onions on the side. My friend got the duck curry and steamed dumplings. Overall, the atmosphere, attentitive staff, and quality of food impressed us. It is a place I’ll recommend to anyone searching for a Thai hole in the wall!

Great little restaurant. Food was very flavorful and very delicious! At every Thai restaurant I always order their tom yum to see how it compares to others and this tom yum was absolutely delicious. Every dish was very very flavorful and portions were great. The pad thai had a different taste from others that I have tried and it was addicting. Food came out quickly and our server was awesome. I like that they had a sliding scale for spiciness as I love spicy food. We had ordered mild, which would be considered medium for others. I cant wait to come back and try their other dishes!

Rating was actually a 4.5 but closer to a 5 than a 4 so giving it all the stars. We got takoyaki and chicken lettuce wraps for appetizers. Didn’t take pictures of them before we inhaled them, but they were both great! The appetizers list is looong and seems to have quite a few Japanese items which I would love to try next time. For mains, we got massamun curry, Thai basil chicken, and pad Thai. We also got a small Tom kha soup and had to get the mango sticky rice for dessert. All the dishes were solid. The pad Thai didn’t taste or look like any pad Thai I’ve had before. It had a tomato finish but didn’t taste bad for what it was. I also was not expecting the soup to essentially be coconut lime milk with mushrooms and chickens, but it was quite good once I got over the unexpected combo. A good find for the med center, and I would love to come back and try some of the other dishes!

It would be easy to drive past this place without noticing however someone wisely painted an invitation to this tiny hole in the wall home of a restaurant. While the outside is easy to miss the inside is wildly vibrant and welcoming.

I began my meal with the Spicy Dumplings which were delicious, but less spicy then I anticipated. (I was looking to sweat) However at the bottom of the bowl had cabbage in a delicious sauce. For my meal I had the Pad Kee Mow which was fantastic again I expected it to be spicier than it was, but I now know to ask them to heat it up. I ended with a Hot Ginger Tea. Which was a wonderful finish to a very rich meal.

I will definitely be back to try their pineapple fried rice, curries, and brown butter cake.

Very cute place! The people were very nice and the food was delicious. The edamame was a little bland compared to everything else, but still amazing! Crab ragoons were so good! Thin and small.
