This was a pleasant surprise. I generally am not a huge fan of pork BBQ but there aren’t a ton of places to eat around Providence Canyon so we took a chance and it was a pleasant surprise!

It’s definitely a house so it did not feel like a restaurant, more like stopping in at your cousin’s place. I didn’t know what to expect and was honestly very pleased with the baked potato with chopped pork and coleslaw. The texture, sauce and flavor were all really good and the pickles and peppers complimented it nicely.

Stopped here on our way to Albany and it was a pleasant surprise. The waitress Amanda was funny and took good care of us. The chicken on the bone and the Ribs were so good! I think they said its smoked with hickory wood and we ate it all. We will be back soon! Thank you for taking good care of us.

We came here the other day and I am still thinking about the friendly service, he good ribs and pork sandwiches we had. we did the take out at the window and sat out on the porch. We even went back up and ordered some dessert… this is an all around great place.

Such a cute little gem of a spot in this sleepy town. After a day at Providence Canyon we enjoyed some port sandwiches and the kids had wings!! Thanks for the great service and yummy food!

From the service to the food, our experience was 0/10! I’m not exaggerating when I say this either. Upon ordering, the cashier seemed like she had an attitude. She was very unfriendly. I ordered a rib plate for myself & a hot dog kid’s meal for my son. We decided to sit down & eat outside on the porch. While we were eating, an older man came out & asked who was driving the white car. I proceeded to tell him that it was mine and he says “well you need to move it, you got everything all jammed up” rolled his eyes & slammed the door. (mind you we’re people of color) It’s not even what he said, it’s how he said it. I will NEVER eat here again even if it’s the last thing standing on earth. The food isn’t good & the atmosphere SUCKS! DON’T RECOMMEND

First I’ll start off by saying the girl working appeared to be cooking and doing front of house all by herself. She was super sweet to my son and very nice.

BUT….. the bbq was sad and over priced. I believe they ran out of rub for the pork shoulder before smoking and the sauce had no flavor at all. If your pork isn’t any good then you gotta have a solid sauce to mask it.

We ordered a kids meal, a pathetic soggy pork sandwich, two hotdogs and a slice of rock hard key lime pie (not frozen). The total was $36!!!

Horrible place, the food tasted like school cafeteria food. The service was ok, but the owner was watching TV from his living room it was so loud that my family could barly hear ourself talky to each other, also it was super inappropriate. The potato salad tastes like it was store bought, the chopped pork sandwich came out of the crockpot, looked and taste like wet dog food. The beans were canned We sat in the hallway. By the way this is someone’s house. To be called the best buts in town is outrages there the only restaurant for miles, just eat snacks from dollar general/family dollar instead. No board of health inspection.

Great service. The sandwiches were kind of small so make sure you get a side. It’s in an old house and is very quaint.

Quick stop on our road trip and we love to stop at local places and home in the wall diners. We had dinners that were large portions and absolutely delicious! Service was great! We added it to our list of stopping back when we return to explore the area more.

We saw this place on our way to go hiking Saturday, and it looked like such a cute place! We decided to stop on our way back home, and it unfortunately wasn’t what we were expecting. The lady working seemed irritated at us for being there, but we were having a great day so we just kinda smiled and ignored it. The meat was cold and while it had good flavor, the pulled pork was more fat than anything and the ribs were the toughest we’d ever had. It’s certainly not what we were expecting for $15-$20 a plate. I wanted to like this place so badly, but unfortunately we won’t be back.
