Our server Colleen was very nice and helpful during our meal at Fourth Wall. If she’s working when you eat here, you’re sure to have a good day.
When we ate here, we made sure to get our money’s worth. New England Clam Chowder, Chicken Bites with three different dipping sauces, Fish and Chips, and the Nantucket Reuben. Everything here was delicious.
The chicken was crispy without being tough or burnt. Each dipping sauce (sweet chili, garlic Parmesan, and blue cheese) offered great flavor.
But if you come here, the haddock (local fish used) is almost guaranteed to be excellent quality. Golden brown, crispy outer coating, tender on the inside, a light dusting of fresh herbs; the fish dishes are amazing here. The fries/chips served are rustic and hearty, far different from most fries served at restaurants.
If you’re looking for something hearty and delicious, you can’t go wrong at Fourth Wall Restaurant.

Delicious chowder and friendly staff. Fun place to hang out and watch the game. Food is good with large portions and plenty of gluten free options.

Was looking for a spot for lunch and randomly wandered in on a Sat afternoon.
Menu is decent for a bar-style menu, and I’m thinking that cocktails & wine are more why people are stopping in. Food was plentiful, and a bit pricey. The pop was…weird tasting though, so be aware of that if you don’t drink.
Staff was pretty nice and didn’t hover over you (could tell they were getting ready for the dinner/evening rush in a few hours). Music volume didn’t need to be loud enough to hear across the Harbor, however…could be understandable if the place was crowded.
To me, this would be more a place where you’d stop in for drinks, or a light snack on your way to or from somewhere, and you’d like what’s on their menu while you’re out & about.

Amazing Burgers and fries! I had the burger of the week and it didn’t disappoint. The fries were cut thicker but they were cooked crispy on the outside. I’ve never had fries cut this way but it works. Crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. We came from out of town and stumbled on this place for the Gluten free fish and fries. So happy we found it! We will definitely be back.

We had just checked into a hotel and needed a quick bite before we headed out to see the town. This location was perfect and it seemed quaint and charming so we decided to eat here. It’s a smaller venue with a long bar and tables opposite. The best part of the experience was the server was extremely good at his job. He was also the bartender. Besides the cook, he’s the only one I saw working there. He was very kind and friendly and was always moving around finding things to do. The second best thing was the brussel sprouts. They were one of the best we’ve ever had and we are a big fan of brussel sprouts. The reason why I gave it four out of five stars is because we asked for medium rare for the meat and it came medium well. So it was a little disappointing. And that totally changes the texture and flavor of the meat. But I definitely would not deter anyone from going. It’s a block away from Boston Common and a solid place to eat and drink.

The bartender/owner is just as amazing as the drinks—crafting cocktails like an artist but serving them up with the kind of personality that makes you want to stay all night.
Music? Always happening. Atmosphere? Perfect balance of lively and welcoming. This is the kind of spot where strangers turn into friends by the end of the night.
If you’re reading this wondering where to go next, stop scrolling. Four Wall is it. Your taste buds, your ears, and your social life will thank you.

We came here (3 adults, a 14yr old boy and an 8yr old girl) after seeing a show at the Wang Theater and it was a great spot! We ordered all our food via their QR code app which was super easy & convenient. The food came quickly and it was excellent! We got the garlic parm wings, the brussel sprout appetizer (amazing!), the Nashville chicken sandwich and fish tacos. Everything was delicious. Nick, our server who was also the bartender, was very sweet and attentive and it was very busy! The group of ladies sitting next to us loved him also! I would definitely come back here again!

Every new place I try that has fish and chips on the menu. I always have to give it a taste. I really really look for that beautiful fish and chips that has a thick fish. Good flavor to it. Good thickness and the breading should not overpower the fish. I can truthfully say that the fourth wall has literally the worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten in 40 years. Frankly, I didn’t even eat it. I tried the middle. I tried the edges. I tried the end of it while it looked beautiful. The breading on the outside was almost like a hardened shell . The people that I was with seemed to somewhat enjoy their meals, a salad and the roast beef. The New England clam chowder did have a nice flavor to it. They truly have the worst fish and chips of any establishment that I have eaten at. The location was nice but there really wasn’t much to the environment inside. Very, very simple wooden table and chairs. Not much to look at. Not much to see. Not much atmosphere either.

As someone who is gluten-free it always feels like a breath of fresh hair to find somewhere that can accommodate our dietary restrictions. We came in Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy however we were seated immediately. The service was extremely quick and very friendly.
We ordered the gluten-free honey barbecue chicken, and the clam chowder, which was amazing! I will definitely keep this in my rotation for when I’m back in the city!!
This place does give a sports bar by which is awesome if you wanna watch the game or have a nice lunch I definitely recommend.
