Best lil hole in the wall greasy spoon. The catfish is excellent I just wish they would double the portion. The tenderloin is so big I made 2 sandwiches out of it. The flavor was very nicely seasoned. There are so many burgers to choose from and everyone I have tried are fabulous. I just wish they were open for dinner. I have taken many friends there which went back with other people. I try to get something different each time.

It’s a classic diner. It’s not very big. The food is excellent. Not necessarily healthy but who doesn’t love a greasy burger every now and then. The owner is very friendly and the staff are all welcoming. It has a home town vibe that is hard to find in most restaurants anymore.

I ordered the salad with ham and turkey. It was huge! The lettuce was fresh and there was plenty of meat on it. My friend had a daily special of a cheeseburger with bacon and fries. It looked great. I am really glad that we have a place in Edwardsville that serves great food!

Went to this place with my 90 year old friend. She thoroughly enjoyed the historicity that the owner has maintained. He showed us the picture of the cafe in 1931. And it’s still a cafe in 2018 in the original building! We enjoyed are delicious hamburgers and the great ambiance!

If you want good quality food, large portions, friendly service, in a quaint dinner experience – then you’re in the right spot! They go out of their way to serve you the best food! One of the best parts about this place, is that it’s not a chain restaurant! Often times the owner himself greets you from behind the counter. It’s worthwhile to visit 4th street!

My wife and I passed by this small Cafe off Highway K32 at least twice a week for over a year and always wanted to stop and try it. Finally we took the plunge a couple weeks ago and came back for our second visit today. The food is absolutely delicious. The menu provides alot of different options for burgers, sandwiches, etc as well as there are items they can make that are not included on the menu. Easily one of the best burgers my wife and I have had in our lives. The fries are very good as well especially considering I am not a fry guy. In most eating establishmemts I’d rather have rice pilaf or vegetables as a side. Yes, I’m that guy. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. The establishment itself is small and only holds maybe 5 or 6 tables. My wife and I both highly recommend this sometimes hardly noticeable hole in the wall off K32 known as 4th Street Cafe. Thank you.

I have tried the burgers, Tenderloin, and the catfish. Everything has always been fabulous. I have gotten several friends and family to join me. The food is cooked fresh and comes out out. I love this place.
