We were in town visiting and randomly decided to walk in for a drink. It wasnt busy and enjoyed taking to staff. We liked it so much, we left to pick up family and returned for dinner. We had great service, tasty dishes and even desserts. I had the asparagus soup, salmon with brussel sprouts and it was delicious. Will definitely return and recommend.

1. Food was awful, i ordered breaded fried chicken – and i have no idea what i’ve got, you can see in a picture. It was dry, meat was minced and too dark to be a chicken.
2. Server had no idea and couldn’t consult about types of bear they have, she said “I don’t drink beer” and she expects 20% tips for it

We were looking for a restaurant to stop at on our trek home from Montana to Chicagoland. I love looking at pictures on Yelp. So, this place looked interesting based on the menu/photos and a chef with culinary experience who returned home. My husband and I loved the story. Service was attentive and fun. We both opted for steaks and I loved the Filet cooked to my preference of medium. Grilled broccolini was cool. White cheddar potato soup with bacon was tasty even thought it was very warm. I would definitely go back.

Honestly, looking on the internet i expected pretentious but we got delicious. The fried green tomatoes were a well done take on a southern classic. Buffalo Bolognese was savory wih a hint of aromatics. Steak with mushroom sauce If you are in the area definatley try this place

Really quaint! Delicious bison burger highly recommend the shoestring fries! My husband had the chicken ceaser salad. Plentiful portions service was really wonderful. Try the local Speedgoat Ale!

Great service, friendly staff, interesting decor. We both got brisket burgers without fully understanding the description. A burger made of brisket? That would be awesome. The burgers we got were phenomenal but it was a beef patty with a dollop of brisket on top, along with the traditional burger toppings. We would definitely eat here again but will pay more attention to the menu.

We just stopped here for dinner on the way to Gillette after a trip to Yellowstone. We were seated right away. Angela was our server and she was personable and quick. The food was fantastic. The rib-eye steak was perfectly charred and flavorful, beef soup was so rich with tender pieces of beef and veggies, elk burger was good (not gamey at all), and waffle fries were so crispy and flavorful. Best we’ve ever had! Cool little bar/restaurant for a great meal and TVs to catch the games. Would definitely recommend!

I had a terrible stomach ache earlier today, but it subsided so we went for food. It came back as soon as I sat down to order a salad. I asked for “some bubbly water, or something fizzy without sugar,” so my waitress brought me soda water. She must have figured out that I wasn’t feeling well because she said, “Orange bitters helps with a stomach ache. Would you like some?” Really wish we would have left her a bigger tip. 25% wasn’t enough for her service, but I didn’t think about it at the time. ♀️
