I’ve been coming here for at least 15 years. I’ve always enjoyed the food; the fajitas being a personal favorite. The owner is incredibly kind as is the staff. The recent updates have definitely improved the atmosphere.

I stopped in for lunch during the week. The service was quick and the waitress was friendly. The portions were large and the food was excellent. I had the chicken burrito, chili relleno, and tostada special. It was covered with lots of cheese and sauce. I will go back again. The chips were warm and the salsa had the right amount of hot pepper .

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Atmosphere is amazing, the owner was really nice, the food is on point. Whoever gave this place a low rating doesn’t like authentic Mexican food.

1st off, I will say that the food is 5 stars and has always been amazing, and I’ve been coming here for years because of the food. But in the last 2 years the service here has been horrible. I even took a 6 month break from this place and came back today only to be charged $2.25 for chips and salsa, when it clearly says on their menu that the 1st basket is free.
They had new weightstaff there this time that was very friendly and all, but their excuse was that they charge for chips and salsa before 11 AM, and I placed my order at 10:35 AM. In all the years that I’ve been coming here between 10 AM and 10:30 AM on Sundays, I have NEVER been charged for chips and salsa when requesting it before 11.
Also, an important note is that there is nowhere on the menu that says there is such a charge before 11 AM. It only states that the 1st basket is free and that additional refills are extra charge and says NOTHING about a pre-11 AM charge. So they’re just making up costs as they go to price gouge and rip people off.
When paying my bill, I complained to the owner about being charged for this for the 1st time and told him it was ridiculous. He just shrugged his shoulders and said “well you know it’s just one of those things.”
No apology or anything didn’t even have a rational explanation about it. Makes absolutely no sense other than to price gouge and take people for every penny they can.
The food is just too good and it’s just unfortunate because I’d like to come here more often for the great food, but the manager is always a jerk and his new policy about changing extra money for stuff that is supposed to be free is ridiculous and makes me not wanna come back.

Great food, reasonable prices, nice service.
Today was my first time to Four Gs but I’ll definitely be back. I came for lunch on a Wednesday and was greeted and seated right away. My server was pleasant and gave me extra salsa for my chips. I ordered the chili rellenos plate (#4) with an iced tea. My total bill was $11.53 before tip. Everything was delicious.
The salsa does have cilantro if you don’t like that. The only thing I could find that I would have changed was that the iced tea was a little weak. Great experience overall.

Ordered 2 giant menudo. Only one grain of hominy and all juice. Called to let manager know and he did not seem to care. Said fir us to complain through grubhub since they received payment. Like 4gs gives it to them for free.. used to be our favorite but looks like we find another place to go.

Overpriced and definitely unpleasant food. I’ve been to this location in the past a couple times and it was always good. But they definitely went down hill. The chips and salsa were good… The soda and fries and green chili of course. But everything else was trash.The burger In the Mexican hamburger tasted as if it cane from a Salisbury steak TV dinner. The Nacho’s were slapped with just beans and melted graded cheese. My 2 kids wouldn’t even eat it… As well as their Horchata.. Very watery and it was obvious that it was a mix that tasted bad. The servers were nice and I know it’s not the cooks fault but whoever is the owner and processes the food is terrible at choosing their food to be cooked. No wonder their prices are high because it’s obvious not to many people go there for a reason. And if you say it’s good and authentic Mexican food. You’re wrong! If I could give a no star I would! A waste of money!
