The regulars here at trivia Tuesday nights are a bunch of sore losers. They’ll complain about you to the bartender there and get you banned from this bar if you end up doing too well. Also, the new host is a huge downgrade from the old one. She pretty much ignores the lucky number system and if you question how she runs trivia, she’ll say you made her uncomfortable and ban you from trivia and the bar itself. If you want to host trivia, you’re going to have to deal with criticism. If you like trivia on Tuesdays at bars that have good beer options, go to Beachwood over in Downtown Long Beach (3rd and Long Beach Blvd) at 7 pm; they’re also only $6 a pour!

Yes, there is an outdoor patio for smokers (as every bar should have, come on, people are drinking!)
Grilled cheese = amazing
Burgers (added cheddar cheese) = awesome
Other reviews said the owner is the griller – if this is the same guy, he just came to our table and asked how we are doing. Thanks for putting up your banner about the best burger in town- this is why we looked you up on Google!

Great beer and good food. Simple menu, I recommend the grilled cheese and pickled eggs! They ran out of the beyond burger – will be back to try it!

I love this spot. It’s one of my favorite little dive bars. The music was great and I enjoyed the pool tables.
The bartender is attentive and polite. He right away took our orders for some chardonnay and offered the bottle price instead of glasses. (It was cheaper) he sat and talked with us for a few minutes before carrying on to other customers.
Right when we entered the bar the bartender right away greeted us and we took our seats wherever we liked. The place was clean and the music was on and loud but not overly loud.
The pool table was a nice addition and there were screens up for the sports games and other channels up… I enjoyed my time and recommend this spot for a little relaxation..

Went there last night after having seen some comments on the next door app about the burger.. man oh man, I wish I had discovered this burger before, 8 years in Long Beach went by having never tried this beauty. I will be back each time I want a DELICIOUS burger, the best I’ve had in this country so far and I am an acclaimed burger expert haha. Highly recommended, also the bar tender was super charming and the bathroom was spotless.. we will go back for Wednesday $9 beer jug.

This place is down the street from my office and I always see it on the way to work in the mornings. They have a huge sign that says something along the lines of “best burgers in town,” and being a burger person, I accepted the challenge. They were not joking. The burger was not only huge, it was amazing! The burger was juicy and flavorful . My mouth is literally watering as I write this. The staff and owner were super friendly and accommodating as well. I’ll definitely be back, but as someone watching her waistline, I’m in trouble, because every bite is worth the extra work I’ll need to put in to keep it.
